Re: Spaying / Neutering a female dog : Advice?

Hi, we spayed Willow at one year old after her first season as suggested by our vet but I know that some vets suggest before. The vets reason was to get one season out of her system and then spay three months after the season. Cost was approx £200.00 but is based on weight so the smaller/younger the...

Re: Grrrrrrr Fireworks

Diwali is why they are on at the moment since last weekend so expect them for a good whole week if not longer :O( Last Saturday they were going off every ten minutes and my husband was trying to get to sleep as he had an early shift on Sunday morning. Very annoying and then we will have our firework...

Re: De-fleaing and worming

Hi, I use Advocate and buy the six month pip and have used this all Willow's life and she is nearly six now. This is the only item I use and I now get a 20% discount from the vet as Willow is all up to date on vacs etc. She has had one tick in her life and I think only because it got trapped under h...

Re: When to spay

My vet advised to do it after first season which we did. Only you can make that decision but doesnt help have differing advice :( With having her first season, you can then book her in three months after to ensure the right time as seasons are six monthly. If you book her in with no season, you risk...

Re: Itching!

Thanks all. The groomers called back and confirmed they used a new perfume but have noted to not use it again on Willow. They did offer to bath her again if she continued but I said she was fine now. So it may have been a combination of the perfume and nettles. She has definitely settled now. She we...

Itching!

HI, bit concerned about Willow. She had her usual groom yesterday, full groom and when she came out, we not long after took her for a nice long walk. She came back really irritated, itching, biting her feet etc. Would not settle all afternoon/evening. Had no sleep and usually she sleeps well after a...

Re: Naturediet has it changed, recommendations for wet food

Willow is on naturesdiet and I just went to buy some more and noticed the change with the packaging. It looked like the contents had blown and they were all like that. I asked the shop if they had blown and she said no as if blown, there would be air present but did say that naturesdiet had advised ...

Re: Changed dry puppy food not good

Re: 7 months old, decided to bark all night long and not sle

If this helps, Willow slept in her crate for three years in the dining room with no problems atall then suddenly starting barking at night, she was not happy atall and we could not work out why. I tried earplugs but she barked from 10pm to 2am in the morning stressing everyone out in the house Well ...

Re: Natures Diet - Major Problem

I noticed the lamb one looked a lot more fatty than normal but she is eating it well x That's the only one I noticed had changed. I feed Willow one eight of the pack for each meal so not too much of it. Is Titmuss the ones that make it or just supply it?
