Re: PLEASE SHARE - 9 dogs dumped over night

I guessed someone would have.
The dogs have been cleaned up and are actually cream coloured, not brown. Poor things.

PLEASE SHARE - 9 dogs dumped over night

I don't post much here these days. I am appalled to hear that 9 dogs (8 of which are 1 year old poodle crosses ) have been dumped overnight in the Winchester area http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/11744478.Hunt_underway_today_for_Hampshire_s_most_wanted_pet_owner/ They were found in such a bad conditi...

Re: Flea bites or skin problem?

She has Advocate every month, she had bites on her tummy and back which caused the redness.
No change in diet.

Flea bites or skin problem?

Hi all, haven't been on for a while. After a bit of advice . Jessie had a few fleas a couple of weeks ago. She is on Advocate so I fumigated the house in case they were in the carpet . She is not infested as we have only seen 3 or 4 on her and none of the family have been bitten (fleas always bite m...

Hampshire Event for Doggie people 21 June

Hi All, just want to tell you about an event in the New Forest on 21st June. It's in aid of Hearing dogs, and would be a fun day out for all. The link below is for the pub website where the event is held, details are on the 'Events' section. The landlord runs the pub with his partner Sonia, Jessie's...

Re: Vent - lost my cool (bit long-winded)

Hi DiSet, I totally understand your anxiousness though. Jessie was attacked viciously while on the lead by a huge dog which slipped its collar at a training class a couple of years ago - really frightening for all concerned. She is fine off lead (will play with any dog) but if she is on lead and a d...

Re: Doodles lost in Hants

Been following this story as I live in Southampton area, there have been some dog thefts this year. I really hope they are ok, the owner must be going through hell.

Re: Jessie (2yrs) started pong in the house overnight - help

Quick update - took Jessie to the vet for boosters today and her Anal Glands were so blocked he thought that might be the problem. Since we got home she has had the biggest bowel movement in history! I guess the glands meant she wasn't getting the right sensation down that end to go fully. Thanks fo...

Re: Jessie (2yrs) started pong in the house overnight - help

She hasn't been crated since she was a pup, this is a very recent thing(the at night thing, not the eating) I am not happy about BARF due to having young children around and I don't have the freezer space. I have got some pineapple coming with the shopping this week, so will try that. Also we have b...

Re: Jessie (2yrs) started pong in the house overnight - help

Thanks, I had forgotten about the pineapple, I will give it a go. That would be a start because each time she eats it it is like having another meal which is upsetting her routine even more .

Meant to say pooing on my title

Jessie (2yrs) started pong in the house overnight - help!

Any advice please!! Jessie is over 2 years old now but has started pooing in the house at night - which is a nightmare because she is eating it to clean up as well! The last few mornings there has been a brown mark on the hallway floor and she won't do one in the garden. Last night I went down stair...

Re: what has your dood chewed today?

Hi, haven't been on here for a while. Jessie is not a chewer but she picks her own pears from the tree! She bobs her head at the branch until one falls off. It's funny to watch.
