Re: Fish oil?

One of my dogs suffers from itchy skin - I use sardines as a topper on his kibble and Fish 4 Dogs have a salmon oil which he really likes and I put on his food. Their website is good and they are prompt with orders.

Good luck!

Re: Spaying

Cant help I'm afraid. I looked very carefully into both ways of spaying and we decided to go down the keyhole route for all the reasons you have mentioned. We took her on in the day of her op, they got her on the operating table - and the keyhole equipment wouldn't work!! The vet rang, very apologet...

The puppies are absolutely gorgeous - especially the chocolate ones which is a colour I would love :D well, actually any colour would do :D :D Seriously we already have three dogs so i think i have hit my limit  ...

Re: Help!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lindsey, hope you are feeling a bit better now, and your garden is still lovely! I won't be posting any pictures of my garden any time soon   Don't know if this will help, but we had the same thing with Phoebe and small stones. Our trainer advised me to hold a stone firmly in my hand, l...

Re: Sleep 'talking'

Oh yes! All three dogs sleep with all sorts of grunts, snorts, whimpers and, particularly Monty, growls  the funniest thing is when they seem to be running in their sleep and their legs paws are making all these running movements! Phoebe and Alfie in particular also snore for England  :lol...

Re: Advice please from multi dog household/owners :)

Sounds like Douglas at 7 months has now hit adolescence and is challenging Fletcher! It will get better but can be upsetting for us when we watch our dogs not looking as if they are getting on any more. Are they really fighting or is it a lot of noise and challenge? It can sound bad to us but they a...

Re: Collapsing doodle

Hi Jo I have read your thread about Jasper - how very worrying and I hope you find an answer to Jasper's problem soon. You have asked about epilepsy - one of my dogs, not the doodle but a border, has suffered from epilepsy since he was 18 months old and he is now 7. When he first starting having sei...

Re: New accessories needed.. Red dingo?

Hi I have a red dingo collar, lead and harness for Phoebe, the one with the bone clasp. They seem to be wearing really well and, like you, I love the different designs! The lead handle is padded which really helps when she pulls! phoebe has the pink spot design with a brown background - as pink as I...

Re: Tangled fur and sprays

We use the green Les Pooches brush as well, and also the Mikki de-mat comb and finally go through with a wide toothed comb. You can't see Phoebe's coat very well on the photo but it is a very poodle type coat - that's why we keep it short now as it matted constantly! I groom her every other day and ...

Re: Murphy had a fit this afternoon

Hope Murphy is ok - one of my dogs has epilepsy and it is scary when they fit isn't it, although we are used to it now. If it is the advocate at least you know to avoid it in the future. One of my other dogs has had an allergic reaction I think to advocate - it's the only thing I can think I have us...

Re: Collar / harness advice

Hi Stuart, I have two terriers also with Rogz collars and harnesses, but Phoebe the doodle has a Red Dingo collar and harness - she's a standard very curly doodle, about 23" to the shoulder. Not heard of the type of harness you mention, but am sure someone on here has one, or at least lots more advi...

Re: ear problems

Phoebe has problems with her ears and she is going in on Friday so the vet can clean them out properly whilst Phoebe is sedated :( The vet is then hoping that cleaning them with drops regularly will help keep them free of infection. She has a curly poodle type coat, very thick, and her ears just don...
