Home boarder recommendations - Kent (nr West Malling)
Hello, We are going to visit family in Kent for Christmas and would like to get someone to look after Holly for a few days near to where we're staying for ease of pick up etc. Does anyone have any recommendations for home boarders (or kennels.. although haven't ever used kennels before and would tak...

Re: Indestructible water toy?
We've found Goughnut toys to be indestructible - and that's saying something as Holly has more than once chewed a piece out of an 'extreme' kong. They are more expensive than a kong version but they've stood the test of time and they float so good for fetch in the water. Here's the link to their uk ...

Great video!! :) We loved seeing everyone - very glad no one lost a welly in all of that mud!! So, the question is where next for the Berks/Bucks area doodle dashings... We'll get our thinking caps on and hope for the same weather again next time we meet - what a beautiful sunny winter day we had fo...

Re: Sat 22nd Feb - Bucks/Berks doodle dash - Burnham Beeches
Hello all! Firstly sorry for the slightly delayed reply... I phoned the pub today and asked them about the walk and if the Beeches are open from that way what with the recent storms. They said it's all fine and the path from the pub is open albeit wellies are required, yay :D I've reserved a table f...

Re: Favourite Photos!
Love this thread, great idea Bid :D My favourite photo of Holly is her as a tiny fluff ball posing when she was a puppy for a photographer friend of ours - even then you can see telltale signs of what is now quite an impressive ginger beard! http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w497/hollyminido...

Re: Question for those of you with water loving doods
Holly loves the water whatever the weather but does shiver quite a lot after she's out during the winter months. We therefore keep a clean dry Equafleece jumper (http://www.equafleece.co.uk/store/dog_jumpers.html) in the back of the car or in our rucksack if we're on a long walk to put on her to dry...

Re: Collar name tags
Thanks to you all for your recommendations and advice :) I honestly didn't know about the requirement to have our address on her collar tag - I learn something new every time I come on this forum! I think I'll give the indigo tag a go and see how we get on with that, thanks Bid. I've just orde...

Collar name tags
I wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to buying a collar name tag that has engraving that doesn't fade over time? We initially bought Holly a metal engraved tag, however the name and contact details engraved on the metal tag are fading fast and are hard to read if anyone ever needed to do so. ...

Re: Meet Holly oh and I am the owner Kathie
Lovely introduction message :D I'm sure you'll find this forum to be a source of great knowledge over the months/years to come. Nearly 2 years into dog ownership we're still calling back regularly to look things up and ask questions of other doodle owners. Look forward to seeing a few pictures of yo...

Itchy Holly
:( Holly seems to be very itchy and scratchy at the moment. Poor pooch. She's up to date with her Advocate so I suppose that should count out fleas (though you never know) - I've not spotted any on her. Does anyone have any answers/clues/ideas? We've got a vets appointment for Monday but in the mean...
