Re: Ticks
George has been on Bravecto over a yr now, it was recommended after he started to have fits just before he was 2 and had to stop using advocate, he's been fine and thankfully hasn't had a tick yet. Bravecto doesn't cover lung worm though.

Re: Breeders
We live near Durham and have an australian labradoodle, not sure if this is too far for you, he's not from the breeder you mentioned though. We have friends at Cleveland who have 2 from toras, a medium and standard size.

Re: Fleas
When George started having fits last yr we stopped using advocate and he now has a tablet called Bravecto looks a bit like a dog biscuit, it lasts for 3 months and there's no known side effects with it. He's never had fleas so perhaps you could ask your vet about it.

Re: epilepsy
George had 3 fits between feb and May and sounds very similar to Alfie, first thing on a morning and trying to be sick, after the third one the vet started him on a mild dose of medication with minimal side effects and thankfully he's had no more. Our vet said it wouldn't necessarily mean he would b...

Re: New Information (Not Fits)
George has had 3 fits since February and they were all the same, he reaches to be sick but isn't sick, then he holds one paw up for a second, then lies down, the first time he went rigid then started fitting but the last twice it is more like a paddling with his paws, after the fit he is very wobbly...

Re: Awful day
Sorry to hear that murphy suffers with epilepsy. It was very scary, I feel like there's a black cloud hanging over me. I've been doing loads of research since it happened and everything I have read so far is what the vet explained to us.

Re: Awful day
He explained all about fits and said he is very reluctant to prescribe medication unless really necessary as sometimes the side effects out way the fit, he said just carry on as normal but if he has another within a short space of time he would do all the tests on him.
