Re: Pet Insurance on Watchdog tonight 8-9pm
Hi Shiv, My pup is now 7mths old. I was in two minds whether or not to get insurance for my dood. She came with insurance from breeder (a month I think). In the end I decided to carry on with it (petplan) when the breeder one expired. We made two payments,£46 in total........and then my poor girl fr...

P@H sell xxl zip liners for about a tenner. You can then put sleeping bag inside and cover with blanket.
We had same problem, ended up folding up old single duvet, big success!!!

Re: Having bedtime issues!!
hi-ya, have you tried popping her in the crate as normal, but leaving crate door open? Is the dining room doodle proof? Or giving her a tasty, frozen kong when she goes to bed so she can slurp herself to sleep, and hopefully break the cycle of being scared. Hope you have a quieter night, whatever you de...

Vicks vapour rub and citronella (not together, either or). I've found them both very effective to put them off table legs, hands, skirting boards etc...) Hasn't worked with the dishwasher though. I guess the smell of dirty crocks is just too powerful to a greedy dood!!!!!

The problem with the sale mats though,is that they only tend to include the postage size mats!!
The 'runners' never tend to be in the sale

Natural flea/tick remedy??
Hi-ya, I wanted to ask for some advice. I've recently heard of someone giving their dog one odourless garlic capsule a day (human tablets) to prevent fleas/ticks. Apparently before having the tablets, this dog was infested with fleas and ticks, but has had none since taking the garlic? I've recently d...

Re: What to do all day!
Hi-ya!! We're currently on week 5 being home. She's 11 weeks today. It does get easier each week but it is HARD!! I'd say it took a good 2 weeks to fully settle down. I definitely had to put life on hold for a while. Constant attention, constant cuddles,it is wearing, but it does get better honestly!!...

Re: Picking your brains again!
We used to use both words as the same thing, but a trainer explained that "stay" must mean stay until I come back to you and nothing else. "Wait" means wait until I tell you to do something else, or give permission to do something.(other way round to Bid, but it doesn't matter) She was right. Jessi...
