Re: Hello from Hugo and me from Nottingham

Hi Hugo123, Sorry I'm late in welcoming you... If you are interested in meeting up with other Doodles (of all shapes and sizes!) there is an East Midlands Doodle Meet group - we have Meets in various places, but the closest ones to you will probably be the Bestwood or Elvaston Country Park ones... T...

Yorkshire Doodlers Sun 1st Oct 2017 Cannon Hall

Hi everyone, just to let you know that the Yorkshire Doodlers (previously known as the S&W Yorkshire Doodle Meet Group) have changed their location for their Meets. They now gather at Cannon Hall, a large country estate with lots of open space for the doods to run, a good cafe, clean toilets and an ...

Re: No freezer

Wow! It sounds like a wonderful adventure.... We're just back from a glorious week at Harlyn. I hope you find the house (and garden) of your dreams - our pups love the beaches there. This particular early retiree and her OH took on a project - they certainly keep you.... busy... Anne, Ianto &...

Re: Buying a Labradoodle puppy

When I was looking for my first Labradoodle, I did a lot of searching on-line. Lots of websites were off-putting, with sparkly, flashing gizmos and quite a few rules about washing your shoes, not being allowed to visit before choosing day, and such... None of them felt right - and then I came across...

Re: Harley not well

So sorry to hear that Harley isn't well, Sarah... I hope the vet can sort him out soon. And the same for Molly, Ei (we still remember our visit with the puppy Ianto after his HD diagnosis...)

Thanks for the heads-up, Linny - and for the info, jonb... I don't use Photobucket much as I struggle even with that amount of technology, but will go have a look...

Re: Yorkshire Doodlers Sun 7th May 2017 Cannon Hall

Hi moosesminion, We find quite a few new families out with their 'baby doods', and everyone is happy to meet a puppy and welcome them to the fold :D You can always carry your pup, if necessary, to ensure that he doesn't get over-tired. The doodles have loads of space to spread out and run, so they g...

Re: Biting

Hi goldenboy, I'm glad to hear that you haven't had this problem again since you first posted... Just a thought though, have you had him checked out by the vet? As it's such unusual behaviour for him, it may be worth a quick visit, just to ensure that it isn't pain that is causing him to react in th...

Re: found a lump

Jo, I'm so sorry, that must be heart-breaking. It's such a shock to lose a dog so suddenly. You are right about getting lumps checked out - and insisting on further checks. I took our Ianto in with a small lump on his snout... I was told it was either a wart or a scab. In my heart I knew it was neit...
