Housetraining gone backwards, help needed!

Rocky is now 11 weeks and his housetraining has been going amazingly, we've had a number of Wees inside mostly at the beginning but no poos and he started to whine at the door when he needs to go out which was amazing. We just took him away to visit friends for 3 nights and had no accidents but he w...

Crate food

Hi everyone, We are trying to get rocky used to being alone, slowly incrementing the time. At the moment we are doing 15 minutes and most of the time he cries for the whole time (we sit in the garden and can hear him.) I have ordered a baby gate so that we can put him in the kitchen when were gone a...

Re: Raw switch tummy upset

Thanks everyone, I've taken him down portions wise for the main meals so I make sure were not over feeding. He already seems a bit better poo wise today !! I switched him so quickly cause we were going from kibble to raw and after reading around we decided to just take the plunge and go cold turkey ...

Raw switch tummy upset

Hi everyone, I switched rocky over to natures menu raw nuggets cold turkey on Monday. He absolutely loves it and is licking the bowl clean at every meal but his poo is loose- it's better than it was on Monday but still not firm and he's been very very sleepy today, not nearly as bouncy as the past 3...

Re: Teeth stuck in crate

I'm So grateful for all of your support and advice. I think I took it too fast and will focus on getting him used to the crate. I would love to meet up with any other doodle owners. We're based in leeds, is anyone else in the area? Here's a picture of the little guy, he's actually been a total joy t...

Re: Teeth stuck in crate

I know I agree it would be horrible, I'm going to come up with a plan to cover the one little bit his mouth can get stuck around. It's a lot to think about cause obviously since he's only 8 weeks and not yet potty trained he needs to be supervised or crated if I have to go out. I agree that it's the...

Re: Teeth stuck in crate

Oh dear, I thought it was good to do that so that he learns to be alone because in September I'm going back to work and won't be able to be at home with him all day. Now I'm confused

Teeth stuck in crate

Hi everyone, Really trying to take on board all the advice around my schedule not his and alone time in the crate. Just put him in the crate for 10 mins only to have him whine and then start screaming non stop for 10 minutes- I tried to be tough and went in to check him finally and he'd got his teet...

Re: What to do all day!

Thanks so much for all the support, it is quite overwhelming and I'm so glad I can get some feedback and advice from seasoned doodle owners. I took the advice and managed to nap when he napped and now I feel a lot better! Must remember that. You're right I am worrying about entertaining him and I ha...

What to do all day!

Hi everyone, we just brought rocky home and he's been so good, whimpering a bit but not more than we'd expected. My OH has just gone off to work for the day, we've been outside inside outside, playing tug and chew toys and all the rest but he doesn't seem very interested in training and its only bee...
