wentwood

Hi everyone - has been a while since I posted - life crazy with my funny doodle boy] Anyway,I am not trying to open up debate on wentwood, I just wondered if anyone here knows what has happened to them? their website doesn't exist anymore and their Facebook page is down. For what it is worth, I don'...

Re: Lily's Kitchen

Crumpet is on this and loves it. He was originally on Orijen but it was too rich for him - runny poos and gave him bad breath etc. now he eats only Lily's Kitchen and his poos are perfect, he doesn't smell and he loves mealtimes. He is only 4 months though so haven't tried any of the adult foods. He...

Re: New owner of minature labradoodle

Crumpet is also a miniature - he is 16 weeks and currently 15 inches and 10kgs. His dad is a miniature poodle and mum a labradoodle. He was the biggest in his litter and everyone (except the breeder) said he was going to be huge (the vet said "that is no miniature" and said he would be at least 25kg...

Re: Puppy Class

Hi Scooby I'm Crumpet I'm a 16 week old boy and people laugh at my name too but I like it. When it is called I just make sure I look especially cute and I get cuddles and treats and that's all that matters to me. Make sure you don't do any of those training tricks unless they give you a treat. Don't...

Re: Harvey

Like everyone else has said, I totally understand why you are worried (I would be beside myself if it was Crumpet) but I have seen quite a few puppies have to have generals and they have all been fine. Examples include a 9 week old labrador who ate three pairs of little girls' undies and another lab...

Re: Urgh. Awful day today.

Don't worry - I know exactly how you feel. Crumpet is 16 weeks today and just when I think it is all good because we have had a day or two of no accidents, he drops and squats and pees on the floor (often right while I am putting my jacket on to take him out). Did it at 6:30 this morning actually!!!...

Re: Here's Crumpet!

I was the same as you and completely overwhelmed. I spoke to quite a few people including my Mum who has two huge doodles in Sydney and she said the most important thing is one that isn't too heavy around the puppy's neck so Crumpet's collar is very light. I went for leather so he could have a match...

Re: Here's Crumpet!

Thank you all so much for the comments. I've only had him for 6.5 weeks (got him at 8.5) and he has certainly kept me very busy - in good and bad ways - but I totally love him. Also really love this forum - have spent hours on here reading up - thank you!!! :D :D

Re: Here's Crumpet!

Thank you!! I am a bit ashamed how much I love him!!! He is not that innocent - in the second picture down the bits in his mouth are the remnants of a pee pad that he shredded in 30 seconds flat (we don't use those anymore...!)

Re: See you later

He is 15 weeks and one day... unfortunately still prone to a few toilet mistakes if left out of the crate so am waiting for him to have a week or so of no mistakes out of the crate when I'm home... He doesn't seem to mind the crate (he sleeps in it happily overnight - and often asks to go to it befo...
