Re: Electronic Dog Voice Boxes

We may have cracked it! The past 4 days Edie has been her cheeky normal self, more energy and almost back to normal poo. We removed chicken completely from her diet and voila! Almost overnight change for the better. It looks like after 4 weeks there's light at the end of the tunnel :D

Re: Electronic Dog Voice Boxes

Well we've now had the results from her stool samples back and they have nothing unusual showing. Yesterdays xrays and ultrasound scans also uncovered nothing unusual. No blockages, no foreign bodies, no tumors etc. Still not sure she is fully over the anesthetic, she is sleeping a lot and is lickin...

Re: Electronic Dog Voice Boxes

Thanks all. She has been back to vets this morning for more checks: temperatures (fine), heart rate (fine). Waggy tail again until she saw the muzzle come out followed by the needle, but was good enough for another antibiotic injection. No news on her stool samples yet, so that may still show someth...

Electronic Dog Voice Boxes

Does anyone else wish their dog had a voice box like the ones in Pixars UP! movie so they can you how they're feeling? For the past 3 weeks, Edie McCredie has been a poorly dog. Vomiting (yellow bile, undigested food after 7hrs, white foam, grass), suffering from diarrhea, and today coughed up a fai...

Re: North West Doodle Meeting - May 4th

Hi all After Edie thoroughly enjoyed the last outing at Royden Park, I'm hoping to come along again. I'm not sure how she'll be with a 1hr car journey to reach Sale so may see how she goes over the next few weeks before committing but fingers crossed. Hopefully her recall will be a bit better too as...

Re: NORTH WEST DELAMERE MEET VENUE CHANGE!!!!

Hi all

As this is just round the corner from us, we plan to bring Edie along for her, and our, first dog meet and hope to get some hints on improving her recall (which can be non existant depending what listening mood she's in). Look forward to seeing you all.

Re: Well hello!

Coat or coat?

Coat
Its wavey/wirey so a "Scurfy Dood"

Coat
Yes it's fleece lined. I stuck it on her today just to keep her dry as I was in a bit of a rush and didn't want her getting too wet. Its a "3 Peak Rambler Dog Coat", very light, and she doesn't mind it at all.

Re: Well hello!

Hi all Sorry, yes Edie is the doods name  Poppygreen yes it is. She is absolutely gorgeous and very well looked after, both with original owner and fostercarer. We really couldn't ask for a better dog and everyone she has met has fallen in love with her already. We've no plans on changing her f...

Well hello!

Hi everyone! We've just rehomed a scruffy, yet much loved, 7½yr old Labradoodle after being on the lookout for one for 2 months. Having both had dogs when we were kids, we're pretty excited to be in a position with our working hours, to be able to have one in our lives once again :) She's settled in...
