Re: A Monster?!?!

Oh my ur doodles are so gorgeous!!! Curious George - My puppy has recently taken out my granny but thankfully the sofa broke the fall  Unfortunately people seem a bit frightened of him because he's so boisterous but he wouldn't hurt anyone (intentionally!) Definitely think I'll have to increa...

A Monster?!?!

We did some research before getting our labradoodle puppy and knew we were signing up for a big dog but think we've ended up with a monster :o I was prepared for the tail that can clear the coffee table and the fact that our big boy can steal anything of the work tops (we're working on this lol) but...

Re: Doodle Coat

My doodle has been trying to dip his feet in the water but I'm a bit scared to let him in fully, over protective mummy i know! I thought poodle type coats should't smell because they're less oily but he definitely has a doggy odour by week 3 or so! I dry him after all his walks but don't necessarily...

Re: Chill out time with puppy?

He's 6 months old and loves playing tug etc. Before we go out I hide treats and he loves hunting for them. The problem isn't really games to play with him, he definitely gets loads of playtime. It's when he gets overtired & moody, he doesnt know how to settle down and sleep (like most naughty toddle...

Chill out time with puppy?

I don't know where I'd be without all my fellow doodle lovers to ask for advice with my pup! TIA!!! :D I was wondering how you spend chill out time with your dog? My pup gets very overtired/over stimulated after his evening play time & goes MENTAL running around jumping & biting! When we sit down to...

Doodle Coat

My gorgeous doodle has a poodle like coat which I brush every day (well try to but he's not fussed!) He has fabulous curls when he's freshly washed but when I brush him it goes a bit mad & fluffy. I had read that you shouldn't need to wash a dog too often but we live in the country & he tends to get...

Re: Timer Food Bowl

He's 14 weeks old and I've kept his feeding regular to try and help with toilet training. His feeding times are 7am, 1.30pm and 7pm and usually only vary by about 15 minutes! He's very hyper and gets over excited so have been trying to keep a constant schedule in the (naive) hope that stability migh...

Timer Food Bowl

Just wondering if any of you have used timer food bowls if you're going to be out during usual feeding time? I have looked at a few but they all look as if my pup would break in in minutes, i think it would take something quite robust to keep him from his food! Dont want to spend a fortune tho...

Re: Help with Doodle

Thank you all for your replies. Sorry but I didn't see link to thread you were talking about? I have tried to stay calm and ignore him when he nips but sometimes it really hurts and he is very persistent! lol I can handle the accidents, the tackling the Christmas tree and chasing the cat but the bit...

Help with Doodle

Please help with my Doodle puppy! My puppy is 13 weeks old and I'm really confused. I love him dearly but he has our heart broke biting and nipping every time we go to touch him. Have tried yelping and time outs but doesnt seem to have any effect. It's all playful but really painful. I don't think h...
