Re: Reputable labradoodle breeder that actually has all health tests done

Cosmic Rays Australian Labradoodles do hips, elbows, patella luxation, Pra, Prcd, DM, HUU, Vw, EIC, CNM, HNPk, NEWS, plus others. Having a child with a genetic disorder means that we understand the importance of genetic testing. The best breeders will show you these and go through them all with you....

Re: Retching/ gaging

My Labradoodle 11 has laryngeal paralysis, I wonder if this is what your dog has. Characterised by a sawing breathing sound, can be accompanied with mobility issues, though in our cases it has just been the breathing issues. Hope your dogs are not too poorly xxx

Re: Help finding a breeder for Mini Labradoodle

Hello. Finding a good breeder requires you to become a little bit of a detective. Firstly have a check list of things you might want to see in a good breeder, here are my must haves and why. Health certificates to view, not copies, for both parents, to include hip, elbow, eye, patella luxation, dege...

Re: Long time since last post

They can Matt in a couple of days, especially in damp weather. The moustache and tail is sensitive to brush a Matt out of, so it is kinder to just shave and start over. I would enjoy the fact she smells amazing and is so soft underneath and they are just so cuddle able after a full trim, even if the...

Something is not right here. Please do investigate further and let us know. Are they a breeder advertising on here?

https://i.postimg.cc/wt76RHB1/beach.jpg I remember you and Wilson well, he used to make us laugh as a young one. Pixie and Petal are now 10 and Cosmic is nearly 8. We also have five red Australian Labradoodles so our family has grown in size considerably! Lovely to hear from you again https://i.pos...

Re: Coughing dog

It sounds like kennel cough, there are lots of strains, or he could have got it from the vaccine. Get vet to come out to your dog in the car as it’s really contagious and can be quite nasty for dogs with other illnesses already. It could also possibly be lungworm does it sound raspy? Both are treata...

Re: Genetic diversity in Australian Labradoodle “breed”

I would say ask the breeder. I know my boy was purchased from the Netherlands and my girl’s father from Canada and mother from Usa. So ours are very diverse.

Re: Looking for a Labradoodle and finding it difficult

There is a breeders list on here, but breeders are not checked or verified. You need to really check out anyone you buy from. You need to check for health tests hip, elbow, eye as minimum and meet adult dogs. Labradoodle Club Uk on Facebook only recommends Home breeders who health test, so that’s an...

Re: Looking for a new doodle

many puppy farmers often try to present as hobby breeders so please do take care when looking, they really can be very convincing. I would always go for a family breeder that does health test their dogs. It shows they care about what they are breeding. There are a list of breeders on here but it is ...

Been awhile

Hello again I joined in 2008 and was fairly active as a member until one day I decided to get a new email address. Strangely enough something happened and I got locked out of the site. Eventually I gave up trying to sort it out and I have rejoined as a new member. We have five doodles, two English L...
