Re: DOODLE MEET SOUTH WEST

Hello all

Haven't seen you for ages - the Doodle meet usually clashes with the childrens' swimming lessons. However, I am free this Sunday. Is anyone meeting up in Ashton Court? Myfanwy would like to meet up with old friends!

Best wishes

We visit Cornwall often. We stay in Polruan (east side of the Fowey estuary). Our ("standard" - is this the corect term? ) chocolate doodle Myfanwy (Mivvie") is now 6+months old. She loves the estuary around the river Fowey and we try not to walk her too far! If you are thinking of a Cornwall...

Lou What lovely pictures. They really brightened my day. (Just got soaked having gone out in sandals and tshirt. Organising my 8 year old - child's - birthday party for tomorrow. Groan. ) Truffle is very much like Myfanwy (everyone calls her Mivvie - but I still like Myfanwy!). I find that sh...

Dear all It looks like the 10th June is going to be most practical for the Bristol/South West Doodles to get together. The golf club car park is easy to find if you get the right entrance to Ashton Court. You need to use the "Clifton Lodge" entrance, off A369 Bristol – Portishead Road (opposite the ...

My OH leaves all the really yucky clearing up to me too! (It is the same as he is with the kids!)

Is this a man thing? :D

What is that smelly stuff they roll in - and why do they?

Yesterday Mivvie rolled in some evil smelling stuff - definitely poo of some sort, of course. She had a bath and shampoo, her coat was shiny and soft and she smelled lovely. So today - you guessed it - she finds some more stuff to roll in and now smells foul again. So what is it - foxes poo, ...

Bristol Doodles

Hi Jill The Bristol "MESS" has been meeting at Ashton Court on the second Sunday of the month (see the South West Doodles post in the MESS forum/thread). We have only managed to make the March one with our chocolate doodle, Myfanwy (known as Mivvie), who is now 6 months old. I'm not sure whether the...

Another reminder of how old I am...

We were volunteering in the Scout/Guide shop the other day and my daughter (8 today) did not know what an old telephone with a dial was for. She was all fingers and thumbs trying to dial a number. I hadn't realised exactly how old (the kids think) I am ....

Ticked off

Tick season is upon us. I haven't seen anything detailed about ticks on the site. So for those of you (us) not in the know about these things, I hope this will be useful. We went away over Easter. Myfanwy (commonly known as "Mivvie"), our 5 month chocolate labradoodle, went to stay with my Mum on th...

We missed today's walk at Ashton Court

Hi there. We didn't make it to today's walk, but would like to in the future. Our chocolate Doodle is called Myfanwy and she is 12 weeks old. If you go walking on the Downs, you may well see us. Mivvie will make a bee-line for you as she just loves to play! Look forward to seeing other Doodles out a...
