Re: Has Molly lost the plot??

We have had her clipped recently so I don't think she's hot...I don't mind her sleeping outside if she prefers to, but I don't like the thought of her lying on the floor, especially since she used to love her bed so much you struggled to get her out of it in the morning!

Has Molly lost the plot??

Our 6 year old doodle has always had two beds, one in the back of the garage with a door to the garden where she goes after a walk to dry off, and a clean one in the kitchen to sleep on at night. In the summer she prefers to sleep in the back of the garage at night, presumably because it's cooler, w...

Re: Arthritis? Or just lazy?!

She is not overweight at all, she's in great shape :-)
Trip to the vets might be in order then...do they have blood tests they can do for arthritis?

Re: Arthritis? Or just lazy?!

I should add that when I am out with her she tears around with other dogs without any sign of lethargy!

Arthritis? Or just lazy?!

Our 6 yr old doodle has gradually become less enthusiastic about walks with my husband! He has always taken her on a huge variety of walks ranging from 4-10 miles at the weekends, and 3-5 miles weekdays. Silly question, but can you overwalk a dog?! She should be fit as a fiddle and appears in great ...

Limping & painkillers

Molly has got up with a limp this morning. It's happened before, she was out running about one day, yelped in pain then limped for a few days. We took her to the vet as we couldn't find anything obviously wrong, he said she probably just overstretched herself and pulled a muscle, so just rest her fo...

The views around the area are fantastic. If you want to go for a drive and see some stunning scenery, go up Porlock hill and head along the coast road to Lynton and lynmouth, it takes my breath away every time :D Also if you take a left off that coast road down into the Doone valley, there is a love...

To be honest I think he looks great both ways! Apparently it does their coat good to be taken right back now and again (maybe like plants :D ). Also with summer coming he will probably be thankful for it!

Molly's favourite dish is pasta with meat sauce and grated cheese :D I wonder what the die hards would make of that?

I am forever chucking my 8 year old son out to play! He's allowed a short amount of time on the playstation or watching tv, but what made me laugh was when he and his buddies cottoned onto it and trailed from one house to another spending their allotted time on the playstation at each house...half h...

Porlock caravan Park is great, central village location, but I doubt there will be any electric pitches left now,. They do have a big camping field though if you don't mind going back to nature! There's also Sparkhayes campsite in the village, but i've never stayed there. Both of these have details/...
