does anyone offer boarding?

Hi, I havent been on this site for ages, so first of all, hello to everyone. :D I'm wondering if anyone offers home boarding ? I know a few of us touched on this subject a couple of years ago. I dont want to send Amos to the kennels i have been using and am looking for an alternative. There a...

Hi, Ive just seen this post - been away from the computer for a week or so - Yes, Amos took a snap at me when he was 15 months old. It led to me finding this forum so at least something good came from it. Although it was a single snap, it upset me dreadfully and I got alot of good advice here. I end...

Re: in for a hair raising experience?

PLEASE dont take him to this groomer. Amos has the same problems - his coat gets to a certain point and its game over. He has to be clipped twice a year. felting? Well Ive not heard that expression but I know exactly what you mean. He does NOT need to be sedated, nor will it take 4 hours. I was told...

Re: doodle pup and 2 young children thoughts please

I think you should view it as quite a big deal. The fact is, some pups are good as gold and you wont have any problems, but some are nightmares. I wouldnt advise against you getting a pup at this stage, but you yourself know how well you could cope with having your young children and one of the nigh...

Re: Mouse in the house

My sympathys. Our cat is killing something every day to present to us. The other day he brought a live mouse upstairs, and had to be chased back downstairs with the poor thing in his jaws, and yesterday there was another dead one in the middle of my kitchen floor. Seems when we get some nice weather ...

Re: BARF and salmonella

Amos ate BARF for 18 months and loved it. Then my 16 yr old son got Campila bacta. I dont know where from or how. Maybe it was from here, or maybe it was from the holiday in Turkey we had just been on. Anyway, it was sufficient for me to stop the raw. Shame really. But as for the dogs getting salmon...
