I agree that the last matter was probably too much off course, my apologies. I do think though that the UKLA is the only place where some concerns can be addressed in a civil manner without the owner of the site removing anything antagonistic to their own view as is reported elsewhere. This site is...

Questions to ask a breeder - help

I can't find the post(s) on questions to ask a breeder, health tests, number of litters from bitches, kennel or home reared, anything else?

Re: PETPLAN REFUSES TO INSURE CROSSBREED PUPPIES

Probably worth noting that Petplan's 'unlimited' insurance will from May have a limit on it I believe £12k per annum, unless you are recieving treatment now for a known problem which it will honour.............

The Vet has recommended radiotherapy, 12 sessions over a month which I would be happy to do if it would be...

Re: Credit Crunch. Use Credit Cards

I would STRONGLY recommend using a credit card for ANY deposit on furniture and the like regardless of the merchant. This is the only way of protecting yourself if the company goes bump after you've stumped up the funds. Many of the larger multi store organisations fund themselves on these deposits,...

Re: Barley got bit..

I don't think someone has to have children in order to have an opinion whether a certain breed of dog can be trusted.

I'm lucky enough to have two very small children and two furry children which doesn't make me an expert on either.

Barley I hope you're feeling better today

Re: Corn

Both our two love corn, not that we feed it them but they have a tendancy to sneak in when we're feeding the chickens and can't get enough of the stuff, oh and chicken poo and if you turn your back for 2 minutes the fish food off the top of the pond and oh and grass seed, very bizarre...
