Re: One woof and it's gone?
I'm hoping I can post this here. It's a message of thanks to Jan and Martin Silk, and their family: I still owe Jan and Martin Silk and family a great debt of gratitude for fostering Bella bebe of Beestons labradoodles for me when I had to have a new hip in 2012. She offered to take her, Bella being...

Re: Still not properly house-trained!!!!!
Some of our dogs at 7, and 9 years old don't ask to go out, but wait for the times I do the toilet breaks. I'd consider myself very lucky that she is doing so well  They don't all ask to go out, in fact very few do, they just learn to wait. You kind of develop a closeness anyway with your p...

Illegal Eel Traps, Beware!
I have just seen a devastating story on the news this evening. A couples dog disappeared for a few minutes into undergrowth beside a deep river, and got trapped in an Eel trap without a safety grill. These could be on the lakesides or rivers, the young Spaniel drowned before the couple could get him...

Re: Betty still has a bad tummy...
I cant imagine any vet worth his salt not wanting to see a pup which has had prolongued diarrhoea as Betty has. The cost is irrelevant. If a pup has diarrhoea it is the owners responsibility to get her well, you have tried enough yourself to do this. I would also check out another surgery for Betty....

Re: Raisin Scare!
A very lucky escape for a lovely boy. These things arnt general knowledge and it might pay to list the problems the owners could come up against. We need to recycle these warning threads often for all the new owners of pups out there. It would be such a sad waste of a life, I know bridget would also...
