Re: Diesel Dermatitis!

Lola had a problem with the skin on the back of her neck which spread quickly down her back between her shoulders over 2/3 days. we were prescribed Malaseb and used it only twice, the sores cleared really quickly. The vet said it could have been something from her dirty collar on a bit of broken ski...

Re: First season!

Nel (10months) is in to the 3rd week of her 1st season. We were on holiday last week in a cottage so she had to wear pants. She has bled quite a lot & still is. Her bits swelled up at the second half of the second week & she is humping Lola a lot!. Other than that no change in behavior. As yet Lola ...

Re: Kennel Cough?

Nel had KC in December. It started off with 1 of our group getting it then 10 days later 3 of them got it (Nel inc) then 10 days later 1 more got it, the last one to get it didn't go on the first walk so was obviously infected by the second lot. does that make sense?. Anyway-- Lola had a KC vaccinat...

Re: To spade or not to spade!!!!!

We agree with you Linny but Lola is now almost 21 months & hasn't had a season yet!!!!!. The vet said "she will have had one , but you just didn't notice" I say RUBBISH! How would we not notice? even if there was no bleeding, which can happen, she has never been restricted outside & has been off lea...

Re: A personal statement

I agree Linny, I haven't been on here for weeks so came on today & it's just the same, what a shame. I used to recommend this forum to everyone but I don't anymore, I actually feel a bit embarrased by it.

Re: New pics of Archie

hi tonylees, it's lovely to see Archie & isn't he HUGE !!!!!. Nel is still very dainty & is only 19kg & really slim, just the opposite to Lola, although Lola is slim she doesn't look it because of her coat. Kate was on the bus the other day & saw Charlie (White one) & she said he was huge too. I hop...

Re: Why do you want/or did you choose a Labradoodle?

Last year in January our rescue mongrel Badger died suddenly, needless to say we were devestated. We decided that as we had had pets since we were married 24 years before, we would have a break. John (OH) was so unhappy, he felt lost, no dog to greet you in the morning, or take out on the beach. Any...

Re: North East, Paws in the Park.

There are a few stalls, they have an agility course & usually an agility show. They have the quickest sprint. There is the usual prettiest bitch, handsome dog, best pup, most appealing eyes, best trick, dog most like owner. Best rescue, best veteran. Waggiest tail. best 6 legs. 6 rossettes for each ...
