Re: LABRAPOODLES!!

I watched this and they did say people getting a dog should have proper allergy tests first as some people can be allergic to saliva sweat urine etc, they did also called the dogs "Australian Service Dogs ASD Labrapoodles and then corrected themselves to say Labradoodles" so they didn't just say Lab...

Re: interested in getting an australian labradoodle puppy

Yes you are right Jans that it is not a traditional procedure and is normally done by keyhole surgery, and Bid as far as I know no one does it at 6 weeks it is normally after 8 weeks. It has been in other countries for around 30 years, but is new fairly new in this country, and the scientific resear...

Re: Australian Service Dog (ASD) or Labradoodle - advice ple

I have had both English and Australian Labradoodles and for me a busy mum the Australian Labradoodle is the best. I found the UK labradoodle to unpredictable and to lively and when my youngest was born if I couldn't take my UK ones out for a good long walk they were almost climbing the walls and the...

Re: interested in getting an australian labradoodle puppy

All I can say is do your research re ESN and the breeders that don't do it! beware there are mostly labradoodle origin (UK Labradoodle) in the lines so what you are really getting is a UK labradoodle with a tiny % of australian, your best bet is to talk to a vet who has experience in the field a vet...

Re: Is a Labradoodle right for us?

I think a Labradoodle is a great family dog, if you have time check out my website below and look at our dogs and Lola, she is my daughter Aimee's dog and they have great fun together, my youngest son is just three and he also gets on great with our Australian Labradoodles, I also have horses, cats,...

Re: Hi, I'm a wanna-be Doodle owner!

Yes you are quite right, parents do need to be hip scored, also a point is that score should not be above 15 and should be made up correctly i.e 7/7 not 15/0 as that would mean a bad hip! Another thing that is especially important in miniatures is PRA testing as two dogs can have clear BVA eye certs...

Re: How big should a miniature be?

UK labradoodles are not normally true miniatures, they can grow up to the size and weight of a Labrador however most tend to be about 18-19ins and about 15kg which is really a Medium.

Hope this helps :D
