Re: SCARED OF THUNDER

Daisy is scared of thunder, fireworks and any other unexplained noises. We have found Kalm Aids work the best for her. I get them from the vets, but you can also get them online. We usually give her a dose when we know there's going to be a problem (bonfire night, etc.) or just dose her up when ther...

Re: Hes eaten a sock :/

Over the years Daisy has swallowed copious amounts of sock - whole. We were very lucky as she either pooed them or vomited them out. I would just keep an eye on him. It did sometimes take Daisy two weeks to part with the offending objects. She also swallowed a pair of my sons underpants once

Recommendation for Kalm Aids

After years of trying different things to prevent Daisy from being a nervous wreck during thunder storms and when there's fireworks, we seem to have found something that works - 'Nutriscience Kalm Aid'. We have previously tried DAP diffusers, herbal drops and prescription sedatives, but they have no...

Home boarder rotherham area?

Hi, I have been let down by a neighbour who was going to look after Daisy while we go away for 11 nights in August. I have now provisionally booked her into a kennels (Jaycliffe - these are not our usual ones as my usual ones are full), but wondered if anybody knew of anyone who does homeboarding in...

Re: Reinstatement of Bunny Garden Rights

My rabbit has the run of the garden when we are in and Daisy doesn't really bother with him. She will occasionally give him a nudge when she wants him to dispense a treat  The rabbit does follow Daisy around and sits while she sniffs him. We also have a cat that the rabbit loves, but the feeli...

Re: Swollen tail base

Daisy gets it when she has swam at lot. The vet told us it was swimmer's tail. The first time she had it we took her to the vets and she had anti inflammatories, but the next occasions we just kept an eye on it and made her rest.

I live in South Yorkshire. We have had it bad, but the main roads are clear. We haven't got anymore snow forecast after teatime.

Re: A dilema on leaving my Doodle at home.

I'm sorry for the loss of your wife. I also agree that you should keep Henry, as you both need each other. Both me and my husband work full time so Daisy gets left on her own. I'm a teacher so she has me at home in the school holidays, but she doesn't mind when I go back to work, in fact I think she...

Re: Foxisle gundogs

To be honest I don't know if they are taken out of the kennel environment to get used to household noises, as I was a naive first time prospective dog owner. I seem to remember some of the photos of the puppies were taken in the house, but I suppose you can do that without them spending much in ther...

Re: Foxisle gundogs

I ended up with the wrong dog, but that is another story. sounds interesting  When I went to visit the litter one of the puppies got really excited when I cuddled it, so we decided that that he was the one for us, so the clipped his fur from near his tail so that they knew it was mine....

Re: Foxisle gundogs

I got Daisy from Foxisle Gundogs, and I wouldn't be without here. Yes they do breed a lot of puppies, but the kennels are clean and the puppies are well looked after. When we visited Daisy the lady (Tina) came into the kennels and the puppies recognised her voice and cried for her. The only thing th...
