Re: Agreement for advertisers

You only have to look at the Stonecellers website, then compare it with the Barleors site. There's no comparison in my mind. Ummm, clean plump scrummy puppies on spotless vetbeds and sheepskins vs a dog that looks like he's in a junk yard - is that wire even safe? Keep your chin up Katie. I've only ...

Sorry to keep rattling on about this, but surely this advise is only good if your bitch has already had two seasons and you know that she's cycling every 6 to 7 months?

Re: spaying advice please

The horse is called Winchester, he's my last baby, an ex-(failed)-racehorse, but now a confident Happy-Hacker owned by a horse-mad teenager who is hoping to start RC activities on. I'm in the process of looking for another "project" at the moment, though I'll probably wait until after Christmas unle...

Re: spaying advice please

Bitches usually have seasons that are not completely regular, but 12 weeks from the first day of season is a safe indicator of "anoestrus" (no heat)the term used to describe the safe period between seasons when there is no activity of the ovaries and it is safest to spey. Anoestrus typically starts...

Re: How long do you leave your dog

How can you compare two dogs who are left 'home-alone' while their owners are at work with kids raised by single parents who are at school, with their friends and teachers? I think the issue here is being left without human company , and if that is the case, I'd say anyone leaving their dog more tha...

Re: How long do you leave your dog

Hi I was just wondering how long do you leave your dog? I have 2 dogs and they are 10months old now, we go to work and come home to check on them at regular intervals. This is not a problem but sometimes I have to attend a meeting during the time I would normally go home. I have successfully manage...

Re: How long do you leave them?

I found this on the web, I think it answers your question perfectly ! :D 10 Canine Commandments 1. My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be painful to me. Remember that before you buy me. 2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. 3. Place your trust in me....

Re: Toy poodle as 2nd dog ?

Ditto Donna! :D Mr Socks has a massive personality and he never has any problems interracting with any of the other dogs that visit our yard. He even rough and tumbles with the GSD that lives there, and he doesn't get on with anybody else! I think Toys are brilliant and will make a great 2nd dog!

new to the forum

hello everyone my name is Juliette. I've been reading this site for days now but only just plucked up courage to post. I'm also looking for a doodle. My toy poodle is called Mr Socks and he's 8 and I think the time is right to find him a playmate.
