Re: Am I doing the right thing?
Did OH think your babies arrived knowing how to deal with everything human life throws at them?
I hope not, as parents we have to teach them, even if its only setting a good example. The same applies to dogs, only we show them what we expect by training.

Re: PLEASE HELP !!!!
You've had lots of great advice, and hopefully you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I would just add a couple of things - what food is he fed on? As a generalisation 'supermarket' foods tend to be full of colours and additives which can affect some dogs in a similar way to children. Also,...

Re: toddler and puppy
At times you just can't police them, seperate them, use a crate, house line, whatever you need. But please do NOT seek to punish her for interacting with him in the only way she knows how - can you help him to play with her with a big ragger rope, or a large soft toy. It's actually far easier to mak...

Re: Anyone else have a wiry labradoodle?
Barney is a multigen and has a wirey coat around his neck and down his back, his legs, and head. His flanks are smooth but not as smooth as a lab.

Re: Scam Phone Calls?
I never ever give my landline number on any form (if it won't 'send' without one, I alter one digit). We had a spate of these calls a while ago, and it transpired #2 son had released it into the wild on an internet form - he now knows not to do it again ;) TPS will only protect you from UK based org...

Re: The dog that lives in the TV!
Barney hates all of the above. He goes into the kitchen to find the dog in the living room mirror, and gets dissapointed. I'm thinking about moving the mirror on to the other wall, but then he'd be able to see it from the stairs... He got very confused when we were on holiday last year, and they had...

Re: Cesar Millan UK Tour 2013
I doubt very much Ian Dunbar would agree with the 'dominanace/alpha' being a necessity in dog training.
PS - agree that Cesar Milan's training can be cruel and his lack of understanding of the dog's brain is appaling
