Hi we go to K9 groomers in Hexham, which I realise would be a bit of a trek! They have quite a few doodles on their books. We've always been happy with Barney's cut. There are some pictures on photobucket of Barney after a cut.
We're visiting Devon again for the 3rd year running, taking Barney with us. All the beaches mentioned are lovely, but we also like Instow beach, which is usually a bit quieter. Sorry to hear that Barney's having such a miserable time, it's awful when you can see them suffering. Bid & Linda have given some good advice, I hope your vet can come up with a solution soon.

Gus had a lovely fleece backed collar, I got it from the internet. Here's the link, They feel lovely and are washable the only down side is they aren't adjustable, you have to buy the next size, but I thouroghly recommend them! As a poodle backcross Barney is probably more like a stocky poodle, but he has a lot of poodle traits, including the graceful 'trot'. I love to see him walk. I previously wasn't keen on poodles, but have changed my mind. I think they are beautiful dogs, although I prefer them in their unclipped state.
