Buffy is a certified Therapy Dog. She visits our local hospital, mainly visiting people in the Palliative Care ward.

Proposed laws in Australia make it easier to destroy dogs

Hi all, Proposed new laws in Australia will make it easier to destroy stray dogs, without providing sufficient time to find their owners, or rehome them. Please vote "YES" in the following news poll: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/thousands-of-strap-dogs-on-death-row-after-new-laws-introd...

Re: Terrified Cockapoo on Many Tears

Poor little baby. My Spike is a Spoodle (Cockapoo) but he's such a bright and confident little chap. What an awful life this little one must have had :(

Hoping for brighter days for this special pup.

Re: More Truth about Rutland Manor

That's great news that at least one pet shop has stopped displaying puppies for sale so perhaps people are voting with their feet and money :P Well said, MrsAdmin. Unfortunately, there is one huge pet store chain called Pets Paradise here, which is anything but. They operate in the large Westfield ...

Re: More Truth about Rutland Manor

Hi all, I live in Australia, and would like to add my sincere thanks to the people here who have worked so long and hard to help stop puppy farms in my country and elsewhere. If it were not for issues raised on this board, and the hard work and dedicated research of people right here in the UK, much...

Save dogs from puppy mills in Missouri

Hi all, Tragically, approximately 40 percent of all pet store puppies in the US come from Missouri, where nearly 200,000 breeding dogs produce up to a million puppies a year. Re: COCKERPOO or SPOODLE?

Hi Linny2. Lovely to see you here again. How cold is it in Sydney? We actually have a heat wave on here It's freezing (by Sydney standards, anyway). We had our coldest day since 1940-something last week  It's been hard to get the pups out of bed of a morning, and away from the electric blank...
