Persistant cheeky doodle behaviour!

Hi there! Does anyone else's Doodle keep doing the same sneaky thing even though they know they shouldn't? Sweep is obsessed with butter. I know it is bad for him and he knows he shouldn't have it but if any of it is left in the kitchen, and it doesn't matter how far out of his reach we think it is,...

Sweep is so food motivated that he knows there may be the chance of something being in my pocket....which is the best way to get him back. I do still walk him on his Gentle Leader and he doesn't pull me at all. He does however pull hubby along. It is really strange because if I think "Oh he doesn't ...

When we had Sweep clipped for the first time he looked exactly the same. Last week I plucked up the courage and bought a pair of clippers. I then set about poor Sweep. He was sooooooo good and very patient. I am sure you will all think he looks a bit daft but he thought he looked great and has been ...

Hmmm....I wouldn't want to guess which part they are either. It is interesting that you mention delicate tums...Sweep's tum can't cope with rawhide anythings!

I can't think of anything I don't love about Sweep. I too love the way the whole of the back half of his body wags with his tail. His face is so easy to read....even that look of "I found the butter again and it was delicious!!" . He is always watching and listening...even if he chooses not to hear ...

Sweep is obsessed with cardboard. I don't know why we got him any toys as I seem to be constantly picking up chewed pieces of cardboard from each carpet. I don't even know where he is finding it all. He is a real Andrex puppy because toilet roll is a real magnet for him too!!

On the subject of food and water bowls, Sweep brings his water bowl to you if it is empty. According to his previous owner it is something that he has always done. Since coming to us he has taken it a step further...if his food bowl is empty he tries bringing that too. He hasn't yet worked out that ...

http://www.flickr.com/photos/85894980@N00/ I have uploaded some new piccies of Sweep. He enjoys lying on the floor in the bathroom as it now has under-floor heating! It's a hard life isn't it. The piccies of him in the garden were the ones I took shortly after we got him and after his first bath.......

Sweep was really in need of a bath when we got him. His coat was flat, stinky and matt. We have showered him twice since we got him and now he is shiny with a curly/bouncy coat to match him and he smells lovely. We have a wet-area walk-in shower and he likes to wander in!
