Re: Advice on destructive dog please

Hi there, I have recently used a product called Pet Remedy and have been quite impressed with it. It is a similar product to the DAP diffusers, collars etc, but a different company, here's the website http://www.petremedy.co.uk/. I am very lucky in that my 2 are very good when left, but Herbie has b...

Re: Poppy & food Continued:

I just want to reassure you that my Herbie was a very skinny pup as he grew, despite him having a good appetite - I tried him on various different foods and it didn't really make any difference. He had loads of energy so I didn't worry - actually that's a lie, I did worry  but was reassured th...

Re: Attacked by an alsatian!

It really is a horrible experience when your dog gets attacked, very scary. :( I can however have the teeniest bit of sympathy for the other owner, only because I used to have a dog (a doodle) who had fear aggression with other dogs and would react if another dog came bounding up to her. I would put...

Re: Raw food queries

Chopping the chicken wings up is fine, just a bit harder work for you! I think it takes them a while to get the hang of crunching it up sensibly, I'm sure they think they have to gobble it up quickly so no one else can get it! I would keep trying and I'm sure she will get the hang of it. :) Great ne...

Re: How do you dry your labradoodles after a walk in the rai

I have to say I am a big fan of the Equafleece dog jumpers. I bought one for each of mine last year and they are brilliant at keeping them dry. My OH was not at all impressed and took some persuading to take them out wearing them, and yes, they do look a bit silly, but they really work! Even when it...

Re: bad eyes

I have used the Golden Eye ointment for the dogs before and it is very effective. Strictly speaking chemists are not supposed to sell it to you if you say it is for a dog.

Hope your eyes are better soon Elaine, I hate that gritty feeling. :(

Re: Mundesleys Op!

Just to say that when Herbie was neutered his scrotum was enormous post op and the vet said it was just fluid and nothing we had done. It went down but took quite a while to go down completely. Herbie was so freaked out by his lampshade I took it off when we came home and luckily he was a good lad a...

Re: Natural Dog Food Company

It looks good to me Maggie. :D Nice high meat content, no nasties and the feeding recommendation is quite low, so if Barney isn't a real foodie, that will be a good thing. :D

It is on the whichdogfood site http://www.whichdogfood.co.uk/review.php?id=0002

Re: Wentwood - 07 April 2012

My Murray has the same parents as Jecca, although he is coming up for 4. :D He is a lovely dog, really friendly and confident, (a bit too confident as a puppy  ). He was really easy to train, super clever - is Jecca the same? I'm just off to see if you have put on any pictures of your pup for m...

Hi Karen Sorry you are having such a tough time atm. :( I'm not sure how much Arden Grange is, but I can recommend Simpsons premium food http://www.simpsonspremium.com/ The company was set up by the same people who worked for Arden grange so its of the same standard. I usually feed raw, but have som...

Re: Snails

I don't let mine eat snails as they can carry lungworm. Actually I check the garden if I start seeing them about. Does she actually eat them or just play with them?
