Re: I bought another doodle :-)

Hi Katy, Sarah here Murray's mum! (Lilly's brother). How are you all? I have just got another dog too. I finally nagged Atholl enough to let me have a yorkiepoo! She loves Murray a lot and he tolerates her a little! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/sawbrook/A45678A6-4AE1-4014-81BB-5F4DB5CA2B08-...

The bread was probably a good thing, to bulk out the chicken bones and hopefully cover them as they go through his gut!

Re: Holiday help please.

It may be worthwhile contacting the 'no pets allowed' cottages anyway. I saw a lovely cottage in St Ives but it had a no dog policy. I emailed and asked if they would consider taking the booking from us as our dog was v. well behaved and does not moult and they said YES! So we are off to St. Ives wi...

Murray did the same thing in our local pond. He found the wettest, boggiest end to get out of the water and ended up looking like this!

Re: Devastation & Despair Please help with any suggestions

Further to other answers regarding Kongs - I used a 'Kong Time' dispenser when Murray was little and left on his own for up to 6 hours at a time. I used to fill the kongs with low fat pate or dairylea light and then freeze them to make them last longer. I got mine from Ebay, but think they are quite...

Re: lying down

Hi again, Gracie sounds just like her big half-brother Murray. When he was younger he always rolled over into a submissive posture when confronted with a dog he hasn't met before and still does to some extent, but now he does it because he loves being sniffed! Especially by big dogs! He doesn't do i...

Re: not nice

I have never experienced Murray being too much for another dog... but we have been on the receiving end of another dog being too rough with Murray and it isn't nice. I would never say anything though because the other dog doesn't really hurt him, just dominates him and pins him down. It spoils our w...
