Re: Tried & tested

It is a gentle leader for me too. It has really improved our walks and I really enjoy them now that Woody is not pulling (dragging) me along the road after him!!

Re: When do boys learn to cock their legs?

Woody is 8 months and has been cocking his leg for the last 6 weeks or so. The first couple of times were very funny as he kept falling over as he couldn't balance on 3 legs!!

Re: Yuk !!! eating Poo advice needed

We feed Woody on JWB puppy food and have done pretty much since we got him. He seems to enjoy it and eats it all although he is really greedy. He doesn't seem to eat his own poo although he can be partial to fox poo if we are not quick enough to chase him away!! I think it could be just a dog ...

Re: Doodle Toilet training???

Thanks for that jilli it sounds like that might be a job for the spring, training Woody to go just in one place. He has totally trashed the garden so I think it would be worth it. It is good to know that others have succeded. Hi Gill and Clarey thanks for the info. I think that I will save my money ...

Doodle Toilet training???

I was just wondering whether anyone has been able to train their doodle to do their wees and poos in one particular area of their garden? Woody just does it anywhere he chooses at the moment, not the borders, but generally on the grass and I was thinking that it would be really useful if by the summ...

Re: Doodles and gardening

Well seeing all these replies makes me think that I should give up all hope now of ever having flowers or grass in my garden again!! I was really hoping that he might grow out of it - no chance!!

Re: advice please on heart conditions.

My mum has an 11 year old king charles cavalier spaniel that was diagnosed with a hear murmur when she was a puppy. It hasn't caused any problems at all.

Re: A lovely compliment - I think!!

We mostly get the comment that Woody looks like a teddy bear too. We have never had any negative comments about him. Some people are just plain rude I think. We were in the park the other day and I saw this young lad being pulled along by a big black puppy that looked like a labradoodle. I stopped h...

Re: Doodles and gardening

I have just read your previous post Mrs Admin about your garden :D Oh dear Jack and Becky obviously love their garden as much as Woody does!! And you have double the trouble with the two of them. I think it is going to have to be a concrete garden for me or astro turf and no borders!!!!!!!! :l...

Re: Doodles and gardening

Oh dear this doesn't sound very hopeful!!! :D I think I had better think about fencing some garden off just for us or revert to window boxes if I want to see some summer flowers!! He is out there at the moment dashing and doodling about like a loony!

Doodles and gardening

I was just wondering whether Doodles grow out of their love of gardening? I am hoping that you are going to tell me that they do as my garden is starting to resemble something from a war zone :D It has huge holes all over the borders, many plants have been chewed and flattened and the lawn has lots ...
