Re: Hi new member looking for an Australian labradoodle or a ASD

Hi Poppy, Both my husband and I suffer from asthma, so when choosing a dog we went through most breeds to see which was most suitable! We settled on doodles eventually, and I have an Aussie doodle (he came from Sydney). Although he doesn't shed any hair at all, it is not really the hair that sets of...

Re: After 'The Chop'

Glad to hear all went well with your Bertie :D This is really interesting.. I got Bertie from a breeder in Australia, and he was neutered at 6wks. I wonder why they do it so early in Oz? All of the litter were done at that time, and seems to be the norm there. He is a very happy, bouncy, boingy pupp...

Re: Random weeing in the house..

Hahaha! For a fiver I most certainly would! he gets a piece of liver treat, which is the only tidbit he likes. He isn't very food oriented, and gets far more excited and smiley from hugs and verbal praise. I say 'busy busy' as his go to the loo command, which he does take notice of and go. Which is ...

Random weeing in the house..

Bertie is 17wks now - I have had him since he was 11wks old. He seems to be having a huge problem grasping the concept of going outside for a wee  I regularly take him outside to a small area we have outside throughout the day and he will have a wee when I take him, and I then make a huge fuss...

Re: What dooes your doodle eat?

Bertie is on Hills Science. Is there any particular reason why no-one else seems to feed it? Is it really bad or something??
He is coming to the end of his first big bag, so if it isn't a good dry food then I can have a search about and see if any of the ones you are all feeding are available here.

Re: Hi, meet Bertie

Thanks for the lovely welcome! I think he is lovely, but them I am slightly biased  I will try and post a few more pictures of him, as he does look quite different now.. his fur is much longer and he looks a bit like a woolly sheep - especially when he has a mad five minutes and runs round and ...

Re: Ear plucking advice please!

I'm glad to see I am not the only one having problems with this!! Bertie doesn't try to bite, he just screams the house down. How often should I be doing this? I clean his ears out once a week - this is something he DOES like! Should the plucking be done that often? I have the powder that is suppose...

Re: Royal Canin,

I have been reading through this and am now panicking that Bertie is not getting a good diet! I haven't heard or seen of any of the ones that you are all talking about!!!! I feed him the Hills Science Diet lamb and rice puppy food.. does anyone else feed that? Unfortunately the choices here in Hong ...

Hi, meet Bertie

Hi from Bertie and me! Bertie is my 16wk old mini/med cream labradoodle. I have had him since he was 10 weeks old and he is just the most adorable little boy!!! He is the first puppy we have had, my husband and I have had cats up until now. However, 2 of my elderly ladies passed away so it seemed th...
