Re: Help!! My doodle won't sleep!!!

I agree with Kate and Amber
My 1 year old doodle Millie woke up too early every night until we let her sleep next to the bed. She will now sleep until we get up, even if its 10 am!!

why the howls?

Hi all My 8 month old doodle called Millie, has been given 2 rubbery, squeeky toys lately (a chicken and an alien). The first time she was given either of them, she rushed into the garden, hysterically squeaking them, sat down next to them and started to howl with great abandon, tail wagging. It loo...

Donna, if it was keanu Reeves prodding my bum, i would let him dominate me and pander to his every whim, as it is my scruffy mutt, I shall not

Hi Kate Milly who is now 5 months old is acting a bit like that now too. She does not like men walking near us when I am on my own in the streets or paths. She really barked at a youth in a hoody a few nights ago> I think her protective instinct is developing and perhaps picking up some tension from...

Thanks for the replies, I hadnt thought of it as about dominance but I guess Milly is growing into a big girl now and wants more authority. I shall ignore ot from now on (particularly the bum prods!!)

pushy puppy paws!!!

Milly the manic mutt is now nearly 5 months old. She has developed the habit of clomping her great big paws on us if she is bored or wants attention (which seems to be all the time). She even pokes her paw into my bum when I am cooking. Does anybody elses dood do this?

Milly the manic mutt is the same. I find going to the park at the weekend too stressful cos of her toddler tossing! However we have been working on "Leave It " at home with treats with some success. I have found a deeply growled "leave It !!" before she actually reaches the kids has worked, but its ...

This sounds a bit kinky, but apparently dogs are attracted to the smell secreted between our toes. It smells a bit like the hormone given off by bitches on heat.
nasty

I had no idea of these toxic foods! I gave Milly a bit of the fat off the bacon, last Saturday morning. A comprehensive list of "bad" foods would be great for me as a complete dog novice!

Thanks for that word of encouragement, but I can never see it applying to Milly the manic mut. Today , in the park she jumped up at every toddler and jogger, tried to steal a football and lost any recall ability she possessed! She then stole a childs glove as well. later in the day. At least I now k...

When I was a kid I wanted a really elegant, golden Afghan hound. I use to dream of walking around town with this beautiful, sedate hound. I now run madly around the park with a scruffy puppy who leaps on people and rolls over for every other mut!
