Re: Looking to find a new home for loving chocolate labrado
If it is so wrong to care about the welfare and future of a dog being offered for re-homing then I hold my hand up as guilty. I stand by everything I have posted and feel sorry for any offence made as that was not the intention at all. Just the welfare of yet another doodle needing a new home ...nor...

Re: NOW will you believe me!
Thank you although we read about it online others do not always catch up on all the doggy news. I would like to add also please be careful if you are coming to any NORFOLK beaches this year (or in fact any east coast beaches). You may remember the tidal surge this coast had in December :?: A lot of ...

Re: Looking to find a new home for loving chocolate labrado
Hi Anne, I understand exactly what you saying and yes I and others are also trying to help her too by suggesting that she should consider very carefully her choices. Yes she is doing the right thing by posting on here but the LT ought to be the way to go that's why it's called a Trust ie someone you...

Re: Doodle friendly Dorset campsites?
Hi, I would happily recommend WoodyHyde (not sure if that's one word or two) near to Corfe Castle if you want a really laid back friendly site. They have three camping fields and I think one is no dogs for the none doggy people. Very peaceful and you are surrounded by dog walks and it's a mile walk ...

Re: Looking to find a new home for loving chocolate labrado
I haven't looked at this thread for a couple of days but have noticed a trend that all the would be dog homers offering the lovely Milly a new home are pretty much first time posters on here which worries me a little. Why have you not posted before I wonder :?: I'm sorry to offend but we have no way...

Re: And now Dooley has had another funny turn/ fit...
We took Dooley to the vets several times last year and he was diagnosed with epilepsy after blood tests came back normal. Hi Glenda, Re the epilepsy diagnosis I'm sorry to hear that. I think our vet did mention that to us but has always been very well to say the least casual about the fits and poss...

Re: And now Dooley has had another funny turn/ fit...
Hi Glenda, Please try not to worry as our boy Vince has been having these type of fits as you describe for around the last two years. He is now nine. We of course worried like you are and spoke with our vet who immediately put our minds at ease (In fact he did not seem overly concerned at all). I ha...

Re: Tissue Fetish!
A reformed tissue nicker here   It took the best part of 3 years of constant "NO NO NOooooo VINCE" screams to stop him but he does have the occasional relapse on walks sometimes you just have to be 2 seconds ahead to give him the "NO" message and he looks really guilty at you and thankful...

Re: Bloat
Our last Doodle Ralph had bloat and also survived an operation for it. What Pixies Mum has posted is exactly what happened to our dog. He was 11 at the time and only lasted for another 7 months post op and the vet said he survived it because he was a fit and well dog at the time it happened. His age...

Re: News Report - Well from the Daily mail anyway
We also saw that article by the Daily Mail and it was also headlined with some other newspapers too. He's wrong Labradoodle's are fantastic dogs and a fantastic cross was made between Labradors and Poodles :) I'm sure what he is really trying to say is that there is no control on breeding dogs. In t...
