The Sick Room - Life of a doodle with a limp

Poor old Roxy is not allowed walks and although not limping, damage to her cruciate ligament means she is limited to the house and garden (as long as she does not run about.... At just over a year that is a bit of a tall order but she is being so good; where I expected a loopy doodle who was stir cr...

Re: Hip Dysplasia?

Thank goodness it is not hip dysplasia...but it is cruciate ligament disease which means she needs 2/3 months strict rest and we go on holiday on Monday with 7 children and 4 dogs. I think she injured it jumping with other dogs and even with rest there is a chance she may need an op and that the oth...

Hip Dysplasia?

Despite initially being told she had just pulled a muscle, another visit from the typical "over concerned mum" (my word...

Re: How do you feed your dog/s?

Went to a Country Show at the weekend and met the Dog Listener (I am sure there is more than one...) who suggested that I move from Science Plan to something like Royal Cannin or some others which evade my memory..I was amazed at the idea that something which I had bought with a view that it was the...

The Debutante - Roxy doodle

Hi to all and hope this works. Introducing Roxy, our lovely 9 month old who has brought nothing but joy to my family life. After loosing a 17 year old rescue dog last year we were devastated and had a whole in our hearts which proved hard to fill. With an energetic family we eventually decided on a ...

Re: How do you feed your dog/s?

Hi Having just joined the site whilst looking up BARF I am feeding complete and what I thought was the best quality, but am not a little confused. My F1 9month old bitch has lost some of her shiny coast since spaying and has a little dandruff - I feed half food in kong and half in bowl with oil/sard...

Re: Beautiful 9 Month Old Girl Needs Rehoming - Pippa

Hi David It appears you have many interested people who would love Pippa and give her the attention she deserves. We live in Surrey, so not close to hand as your first preference. We have a 9 month spayed doodle bitch who is very friendly with all dogs and would love a playmate (can't work out how t...
