Re: Poo - apologies for lunchtime topic!!

Florence used to do big, smelly poos maybe 4 times a day on dried food, they were HUGE and very smelly.
Since being on a raw diet, she does 2 a day, small, firm and non-smelly, a pleasure to pick up!!

Re: Cream coat brown bum!!

Thanks for your replies everyone :D
She goes to the groomer every 6 weeks and I mentioned it to her but she just dismissed it. I think I will take a trip to the vets just to see, even if I have to pay a consultation fee, it's worth asking. Will also try the bicarb i think x

Re: dog poo

Florence used to do it all the time until I changed her onto a Barf diet and it stopped immediately!!! Its something to do with all the carbs they get fed on with dry food. I did post it on here at one point as I read it in my Diet & Nutrition book and it all made perfect sense. When I have more ti...

Re: Doodle-proof bins!!

Doodle-proof bins!!

Can anyone tell me the name of the kitchen bin that is dood-proof please? Somebody recommended it on here ages ago but finances were not able to stretch to one back then and i'm now officially sick of opening my back door to put something in the bin (my bin stands right outside the door!!).

Re: Tinned sardines and cottage cheese

Thanks ladies! :D I do give Florence E vit supplements (as recommended by frosty when she sent me her Barf diet sheets!) as she said about the depletion of this thru fish oils. I work nights and my husband feeds Florence her breakfast when he gets up for work so I try to keep breakfast to something ...

Re: Winter coat

Her visit just before xmas left her with a longer coat, as i just wanted to keep her long and curly and shaggy - what a mistake!! we went to my brothers on new years ev...

Re: Tinned sardines and cottage cheese

Thanks for your reply. She loves it! I normally keep it as a brekky and she has raw meat for dinner every day, consisting of either, chicken wings, tripe, beef ,lamb, heart or chicken with some offal occasionally :D
Treats are dried sprats and for recreation, a bone of some sort :D
