Re: Has everyone abandoned ship?

I must confess now that Bentley is all grown up at 7 years old, I don't have the same need for advice that I used to have, but just drop by occasionally to check and see if the familiar faces are still around - not that I've met anyone but I feel that I know people through the antics of their dogs. ...

Re: Jackson 4 years on

I remember Jackson's story well. It's so good to hear that he and his family are so devoted to each other and he is
happy.

Advice please,

I have a five year old mini labradoodle Bentley, whose every activity is ruled by his stomach. He was always easy to train as he was so food obsessed. But although we have tried really hard he steals food at any opportunity - we try to keep this to minimum by being extremely vigilant (and tidy) when...

Re: Car travel equipment...

After a lot of expense buying stuff that didn't work for us or fit the car! we bought an Orvis Nylon Folding Travel Crate - it's a soft crate made by Orvis, it's very light and it folds flat very easily, it has a zip opening and is easy-peasy to pop in and out of the car, Bentley has travelled very ...

What a lovely girl and great action shots.

Can you advise which harness she is wearing as she looks very comfy in it.

Thanks

Re: Home Boarding Recommendations ... Please

Until recently we lived in Wokingham Berkshire and used a company called Dog Days for home boarding Bentley and also for walking twice a week with other dogs. Would highly recommend them but they do get booked up very quickly. Hope you find someone.

Regards

Re: Broading Kennels

We have always had Bentley home boarded - I never wanted him to go into kennels. Fortunately we have a company that we have used regularly since he was a pup and he's always had a great time and we have been very confident about the home boarder that he's stayed with. However we are on the move and ...

Re: Anyone listen to the Archers

Sad to say that after being an avid daily Archers listener for the last 30 years I don't listen anymore. The story lines are poor and depressing and most of the characters have had personality transplants and don't resemble the folks they used to be AND I don't actually care about any of them anymor...

Re: The Chronicles of Freddy West - Poor Staffy bit off too much

I hardly ever post on here but always follow the goings on, news etc and I would just like to say well done and hopefully you will have taught the young man in question a lesson in how to control and look after his dog, I am always such a wimp and dread being in a situation like that so as far as I'...

Re: Where is Kate W ???

I also really miss Kate W and Rufus, I think that someone posted that she had some family illness and also had a problem after breaking her wrist, it would be good if anyone knew how things were, but would like to send her all good wishes and hope that she manages to visit the UKLA where her good se...

Re: Home Boarding under threat - Very Long Post

The owners of Dog Days home boarding have checked with the council who state that no complaints have been received but that they would like to be consistent with other local boroughs!! and I quote: There must be a reason for this? We thought that no one would introduce such measures without good rea...

Home Boarding under threat - Very Long Post

Dear all, I am posting this very long post ref home boarding as it may be of interest to others who use home boarding services nationwide as although clearly this refers to Wokingham Council and mentions Bracknell, l other councils may well be consisdering this. We have just received the following e...
