Re: Anyone heard from Awaiting Rodders??

I didn't mean that Sam wouldn't wish him well!! Quite the opposite. Of course she would want to know how her baby is doing. Neither did I mean that it isn't great for everyone to know how he's in a happy place. I think it's great that the breeder has been so responsible. I just think that it must be...

Re: Anyone heard from Awaiting Rodders??

It's great to know that Jackson has settled. Even so, I think it's still so extremely sad for Sam and difficult hearing about him being rehomed. I really think we ought to exercise some sensitivity to her feelings in that respect.

Re: Anyone heard from Awaiting Rodders??

Ohhhh Sam :( ((((humungous hugs)))) I wish there was something that would make it easier but it sounds like it's one of those things you just have to go through and be stronger for having been through. One of the things I do hope you can see is that you have given all you have got. More than most of...

Re: Anyone heard from Awaiting Rodders??

Oh I bet Sam will be so grateful for the concern. She's so lovely isn't she. I did get a message and Jackson is doing really great apparently, although Sam did seem very down about it now the dust has settled. :-( I really hope she sees this and realises so many people care about her and the situati...

Re: Help needed for some Doods

We've contacted Barb- we are on the list for adoption but fostering sounds like a great thing to do in the meantime. How sad that so many have come up at once. :( But I am slightly excited that one of those might be our forever one?? We'll see. I have even bought the new bowl you know... Even if it'...

Re: ?Whats wrong with Holly?

It must be tough for them not knowing what to do with themselves if they do feel pain. :( But good news that she's much better today. xx If it's any consolation, we got my Mum and Dad a rescue kitten who MY DAD (yes my Dad) named 'Tinkerbell' ('for the kiddies..' )and who has always b...

Re: Advice on getting a dog with young kids and a cat!

We have two children aged 4 and 5, we've had Ruby a year. She's a 4 year old mini doodle from the Labradoodle Trust. She is fantastic with the kids. I would absolutely 100% recommend getting your name down with the Trust, they have lots of dogs needing homes, I think it's the ones who need an extra ...

Re: Loving home available for kid/dog/cat friendly 'doodle!

Hi! Yes, we are just looking at labradoodles, John.Or maybe cockapoos, via the Labradoodle Trust, which have been assessed. I hope your daughters' dog finds a home very soon. :( Gruff has gone to a good home already! :D Barb says she has a few in the pipeline, I think the best option for us ...

Re: Loving home available for kid/dog/cat friendly 'doodle!

Lucydoodle thanks for that! We have contacted the Dogs Trust about that little guy and they have someone with first dibs on him. He seems quite popular! I think from what I gather they would prefer older children as he is so giddy, but they did say if the people going to see him weren't interested w...

Loving home available for kid/dog/cat friendly 'doodle!

Hi As you probably know, we're looking to give a good home to a dog to keep our lovely Ruby company, and provide a playmate for the kids and me and Si, too! We have applied to the Trust, as we got Ruby from there and feel that this is our best option as the dogs are carefully assessed, and with the ...

Re: Truffle has been to the groomers - NOT happy...

I'm so sorry they've not done what they were supposed to :( You must be so upset. One groomer that I took her to did allow me to stay when we first got her - she was rescue and I wanted her to know I wasn't leaving her, and it was quite soon after we'd got her. I have to say, they did a lovely cut. ...
