Re: Anyone else seen this ad on Pre loved

People have to give up their dogs for so so many reasons and it just really saddens me that people have the thought that they are ALL unwanted no they are not. Its like a homeless person I see when we go into the city. He has a dog and he has often said to me he goes without food for his dog. He ask...

Who's to blame

Just wondering if anyone knows My friend has just rang me in floods and I mean floods of tears. She has a dog a German Shep now I personally do not like the breed but each to their own. She rescued him when he was a year old and he is VERY aggressive and protective (why I don't like the breed) She h...

Re: To SQUAT or NOT !

My dog was six months old when he first cocked his leg we even marked it on the calendar

He mixes between squating and cocking his leg, if he can be bothered he will cock his leg but he is a lazy dog and will quite happily squat

Some truth in the Myth

My doodle is an F2 and came from a litter that was very varied in coat types He is tight curly but if I snuggle him on my knee will leave a light show and if he decides to cuddle all the staff in the ASDA when we shop he will leave a slight trace on their black pants. However last night and today I ...

Re: How free is your doodle???

I have just made a post about something similar Today I had my Doodle in a strange unfamiliar open space that had no fencing or trees round it to keep him in. Near to a mian road so if he had wanted to nelly off he could of. My dog was a nightmare with recall at first. I took him to training classes...

Minor miracle

Do your dogs ever surprise you so so much that you think some things are a minor miracle?? Today I had to go to a meeting which my Dood was coming with me to. I had visions of him having a widdle in the meeting room so I took him for a walk on a huge open space field near to the place we were going....

Re: Microchipping

I would just like to add If you have a Dogs Trust re-homing centre near you, they do the microchipping for £10 or £5 if you are on means tested benefit and they also give your dog/puppy a full health check. They also get any profit too which is great better than it going into your vets back pocket :D

Re: What crate size should I get?

If you watch your dog sleep are they are curler or a stretcher??? My dog is a stretcher and is I would say a small standard doodle but as he stretches he needs a 42" crate. This also gives him room to have a play in his crate with his kong or his orbee ball he has enough room to roll it and pounce o...

Can't get used to it

This well behaved Doodle that has just totally changed. He is out all day with me either walking, helping me shopping or like today at the Gym. He just sits there and watches everyone. For the past few weeks all he has done of an evening is snore on the couch. Going from being a complete nightmare t...
