Hello and Welcome to Seefa and her humans, and what a pretty girl she is :D Seefa sounds like a typical doodle - life will not be boring with her around   https://i.postimg.cc/bG76hnJQ/IMG-20181111-123247-1.jpg This is my girl Jazz acting all innocent. Sadly the site isn't as active as it ...

Re: eating problems

Hi Juney,
Have you tried using a snuffle mat to hide his food in? Even scatter feeding across the floor or outdoors and make him search for his food.
There are licky-mats too which can be purchased cheaply on Amazon.
Good luck.

Re: Retching/ gaging

Bless him - it is horrible to see them so unwell. Like Dexter my Kobi was 11 years old, had been treated for colitis and a UTI, antibiotics & Metacam given - had good days followed by bad days. He was 40kg so a big dood who loved his food so when he went off his food I knew this was not a good sign....

Re: Stud for Daisy

Hello to the Forgie family :) I have no answer to your question but perhaps if you read through some of the post in the 'Looking For Mates' section ( about half way down the board index page) you will get some ideas / pointers to help your search. I do know there are quite a few health tests you wou...

Re: Itchy Coat

Hi Cooperman I would use Frontline flea treatment - you need to know weight of dog to get correct dosage and all bedding, soft furnishing etc need to be washed on high temp wash. You will need to treat the home too as eggs may have been laid. I use Indorex spray which is brilliant and only needs to ...

Re: Itchy Coat

Hi and welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear your doodle is having problems. Did you notice this problem when you changed food? If so perhaps there is something he is allergic to? Do you give him any veg / bran - this will help keep his anal glands clear so prevent having to have them seen to by the v...

Re: Tips on helping with dogs being a bit 'liverish' please.

Awww its horrible when they are not well - you feel so helpless as they cant tell you what is wrong. Glad to hear she is feeling a little better. I believe a low fat diet helps the liver. A little sweet potato (cooked & mashed) may tempt her and full of goodness. I can relate to her taking herself a...

Hi Anna
Just seen your message so you may have already seen your vet - hope Mrs Nest sorted.
Whenever Jazz get like this I give her mashed banana and natural yogurt. The probiotics in the yogurt seem to help.
How is she today xx

Hurray.....small steps

Just heard that Sainsbury's have decided NOT to stock/sell fireworks this year :D . It would be brilliant if other stores took note of this move and followed their lead. I am all in favour of organised displays, but do feel they could use silent fireworks as they do abroad and it should be limited t...
