Seizures? advice needed please.

Hi, I used to come on here all of the time when I first got my labradoodle Myla but I've not been on in a while these days. Im really worried about her as she is having seizures. She will be 3 in April and is the most amazing dog ever, Im just worried sick that there is something seriously wrong. Tw...

First season I think

Hi everyone, I've not been on here for a wee while. Myla hasnt been very well at all, it started yesterday she had diarrhoea. At 3am this morning she woke me up crying which she never ever does, so I went down stairs and let her out for the toilet and she had diarrhoea again. Again at 9am she was cr...

Re: Grooming an f1b

I can totally relate to you. Myla went to the groomers for the first time on Monday. I said that I really didnt want her short but the groomer felt her coat and said that the matts were really bad and it was due to the coat changing and the adult coat coming through. The grromer said herself that sh...

Re: The Saddest of news

Im really sorry to hear about this Bid.
That really is so sad, you dont imagine these things happening when you've got your heart set on the dog you've picked. Such ashame, I guess they really are so vulnerable and susceptible to infections.

Re: Down in the dumps!

Hi Katie, Oh poor Martha it must be horrible for them, I was wondering if Martha is a miniature labradoodle? As I'd heard that miniatures tend to go into season a lot earlier than the larger ones. Myla is a standard and has not yet had a season, Im quite dreading it especially with her being such a ...

Re: How bad is this weather

It is unbelievable this weather. I walked to work yesterday and it took me an hour and a half to walk when its only 10 minutes in the car. The whole way it was nose to tail traffic and complete gridlock, no cars moved for hours in North Lanarkshire and police were everwhere closing roads. Then I sta...

Re: Marley in the Snow

The video is great, Marley's loving the snow by the looks of it. The snow is unbelievable where we are now, its up past your knees, then it started to thaw slightly but today its heavier than ever. Its becoming a real problem for Myla though, I havent been able to take her out for two days as the la...

Re: Frozen paws.

Hi, Myla had the exact same aswell. On the way home today after playing in the snow, she started crying and limping. She had loads of ice cubes stuck to her, I had to defrost her with the hairdryer and warm her up. Also icicles hanging from her mouth.

Myla and the snow

Well, as predicted we got heavy snowfall last night and today is a whiteout. At first Myla wouldnt even go out the back door, then after cautiously tiptoeing she just went crazy, she absolutely loves the snow. I could hardly get her to come back in. We had a great day, took her up to fields where sh...

Re: She called him THAT THING

Dont you just hate that! My mother in law keeps calling Myla "IT" with a disgusted look on her face, she will not even put a pinkie on her let alone clap her, she hates dogs. But it really annoys us calling her It, my husband gets quite angry with her. And of course who does Myla keep going to!? bec...
