Labradoodle for rehoming
Just seen an advert for a 3 year old Labradoodle bitch to be rehomed in Wisbech Cambridgeshire - she is on pets4homes. I can't take her but hopefully someone may be able to give her a home.

Re: Mini doodle 12 week weight
Hi my miniature, Dulcie weighed 5.6kg at 13 weeks so not too different from yours. She is now (almost 22 months) just under 18" tall and weighs 17kg so really she has turned out to be more of a medium Labradoodle.

Re: CAGE v NO CAGE
Hi Alison Dulcie has just turned one and we have only just got rid of her crate. She now sleeps on her bed which is in the same place as her crate and she hasn't had a problem with the change at all. To be honest we could easily have finished with the crate 2/3 months ago as she has always been real...

Re: Rogue's gallery - height, weight, gen, hair type and a pic
Hi this is Dulcie. She's a miniature F1b, 18.5" and weighing about 14.5kg. She has a very curly coat and doesn't seem to shed at all. She only needs a weekly brush and has a visit to the groomers every 3-4 months. She doesn't smell at all and not even a hint of dog breath!! She has a beautiful natur...

Dulcie's Birthday
I can't believe that Dulcie is one year old today! She has become the most beautiful, lovely-natured dog who is loved by everyone (well, almost everyone!!) who meets her. So many thanks once again to Annette and of course, Dotty! Apologies if the photos are too large! http://i862.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: Moulting question by a prospective owner
Hi Dulcie is an 11 month old f1b - she is 18.5" and weighs 14kg. She has a lovely curly coat which hardly seems to shed at all. She only needs brushing once a week and has a 3/4 month visit to the groomers for a tidy up.

Re: Dog whistles
I also use a 211.5 Acme whistle for Dulcie. She has also been whistle fed from a pup which I think has helped with her recall.

Re: Labradoodle needs a home...
Hi Sue I don't think it's possible to guarantee that a labradoodle won't moult at all. They all seem to, to a greater or lesser degree and their coats can also change as they become adults. My own doodle is very poodley and did shed quite a bit over Christmas but recently there has been very little-...

Labradoodle needs a home...
A friend of mine has told me of a Labradoodle which is curently at a Labrador rescue centre (I'm not sure quite where but I can find out). She is an eleven month old black Labradoodle who has been spayed and microchipped. Apparently she is good with children and other dogs but not cats. If anyone is...

Feeling proud until...
I took Dulcie for her post-op check-up this morning. The vet said both her wounds are healing nicely and that she is in beautiful condition and is a perfect weight with a lovely defined waist (definitely just dulcie he is talking about there!!). Feeling really chuffed I brought her home, let her out...

Re: How long to recover from castration?
Hi Mindy We had Dulcie spayed on Wednesday (not quite the same thing I know!!), she also had a cyst removed from her forehead so two lots of stitches. She was very subdued in the evening, not wanting to eat and crying every few minutes, but by the morning she was almost back to her normal self wanti...

Re: Dulcie 9 months
Well Dulcie is back and is very subdued. She has had her forehead shaved as she has had a cyst removed along with being spayed. Not interested in eating (nothing new there!) and is quietly enduring the disdainful stares of the two cats who are wondering why she is isn't chasing them around the room!

Dulcie 9 months
Hi I just thought I'd share a few photos of Dulcie. She's now 9 months old and has gone to the vets to be spayed today. They have phoned to say she is fine and I'll be picking up a slightly more subdued (for a few hours anyway!!) Dulcie at 5 this evening. Apologies if the pics come out large, I have...

Re: average age for first season
Hi
Dulcie is a miniature labradoodle and she had her first season back in November aged 6 months. I have booked her in to be spayed during February half-term which will be three months before her next season would have been due.
