Re: Gentle leader or Halti?

I use a gentle leader harness and find it to be brilliant. I used the gentle leader head collar but Wilf did not like that so we changed to the harness. It is without doubt the best item I have bought for him, no pulling whatsoever with it.

Re: Best tough dog bed

Wilf used to chew his bed so after he chewed the 3rd one I decided to get him a "Tuffie bed". These are very strong and waterproof. You can even hose them down if you need to. He has never chewed this one and it is probably the best thing I have ever bought him.

Re: Eric in my studio

[quote="MandyG"]The bl**dy strip of ads is hiding half of it. Wish I knew how to get rid of them. I get that on my computer and I found that if I make the window bigger by dragging the bottom right corner out then I can see all the message. Lovely picture of Eric, my dog will happily pose for ages u...

Re: New bed!

Wilf has a Tuffies bed, it has the advantage of being waterproof which can he hosed down to keep clean. He has had a few different beds and this is the only one he hasn't chewed.

Re: Advice please!

We had the same problems with Wilf when he was younger(about 8 months). He would be limping one day and then seemed ok after a few days the he would be limping again. He also seemed to hold himself awkwardly as well at times. I took him to the vets and they x-rayed him on both legs. The vets thought...

My dog doesn't know his own strength

Whenever we have visitors Wilf gets really excited and jumps all over them so on Saturday when we had people visiting I decided that when they knocked I would distract him by throwing his ball in the garden and then pulling the patio door to. I thought he would pay more attention to the ball than th...

2nd Birthday today

It's Wilf's 2nd birthday today. :) He can't have any goodies though as he has been throwing up foil. We went for a walk down the canal on Monday and he disappeared. I walked backwards and forwards calling and whistling him for 20 minutes before he turned up looking sheepish. Next day he wa...

Re: Dog bed or bed cover

Wilf got through 3 beds until we bought him a Tuffies. He doesn't chew it and it is really easy to clean. If we go on long journeys in the car we take out one of the seats and put his bed down for him, he is able to lie out even with his seat belt on.

Re: Plants

We have fenced part of the garden off so that I can have plants out. I put all my pots on the fenced off side so Wilf can't get any where near them. I can also use this area to put hedgehog food down and the hedgehog box and also mealworms and fruit for the robins and blackbirds. Everyones happy and...
