Re: I love this forum but......

I say to you Sharon "YES". They are everybit as important. You still have not answered me if it comes to that. Who chooses? Who decides? Amber     No further comment other than to say, thank you for your honesty, you are brave to admit that. Incredible though, tbh that y...

Re: I love this forum but......

To Quote Sharon: (My last one, honest) "Also, how can it be "daft" to assume that if someone refers to a child in their post as their "daughter" and then speaking hypothetically, they were to die trying to save a dog, that the said daughter would be "fatherless". You've truly lost me LOL. " Perhaps...

Re: I love this forum but......

If we can't equate the value of the life of an animal to that of a human, should we all be feeding dogs when there are people in this world that starve to death every day,who would gladly eat the meat we give to our animals? That is a daft thing to say - since if we stopped feeding our dogs, those ...

Re: I love this forum but......

You cannot equate the value of human life with that of a dog - and I speak as Mum and a breeder. That is all I was trying to say. Can I just ask why? IMO, An animal deserves as good as a human being. We created them, we should be responsible for them, they deserve no less. If more people looked aft...

Re: I love this forum but......

Dogs are dogs, and should be treated as such, nothing more, nothing less. They are NOT substitute children. Erm... we got Bailey when we were told we were unlilely to ever have children of our own. We're going for fertility treatment next year but even then the odds are really against us and...

Re: I love this forum but......

OOOOOOHHHH you are brave!!! Sometimes I want to say that Doodles are just crossbreeds or even use the M word that would have been used when I was young but I am just too scared  But they ARE just crossbreeds, you are quite right ! Hence the reason they come in all different shapes and coat t...

Re: I love this forum but......

deep breath before posting then running for cover! no matter how much I love my doodle, which is tons, at the end of the day he is a dog and as such comes from a long line of ancestors who weren't mollycoddled, pampered and spoiled by their owners. They were chucked scraps from the table, didn't ha...

I am at home e...

Forgive me if I am wrong but I thought you were against breeding F1's due to your comments under http://labradoodle.org.uk/forum/viewtop ... f=1&t=2866

Must say Lou, I thought that too. :?

I agree they are lovely puppies though.

Re: How do we stop our Doodle eating our Cocker's Poo !!!!!!

I must say that in my experience dogs/pups do seem more inclined to eat their own poo (or that of dogs fed on burns) .... I can only assume that this is because it is so rich in goodness .... but whatever, I stopped using it for the above reason as it is not a habit I wish to tolerate. My advice wou...
