Re: Pancreatitis

Jacob was suspected of having this a couple of years ago. He started crying one night when we agve him a bone. He was sick and we took him to the emergency vet. The vet felt that he was fine to come home and try him with a light diet such as scrambled egg. We made him some and he just sniffed it and...

Re: Norfolk Christmas

Jacob, Nat and I can recommend Congham Hall. We went there last Christmas and had a great time. We will probably consider it again next Christmas (2016). They have dog friendly rooms which open out into a courtyard. I think anything over Christmas will be expensive so it was not a cheap break but th...

Re: Public display of a Bad Hooman !!!

I smacked Jacob once in the park when he had run off and not done what I asked him to do. I was frustrated and embarrassed and it was this that led me to smack him - just once on his rump - not lifting him off the ground and shaking him. However Nat was with me and when we moved away from other peop...

Re: Nice walk ruined...

What a horible experience for both of them. We hope they are both feeling better now. Nat said that she can't bare looking at poor Roker's wounds. It is something I dred Jacob being attacked. I would definitely mention it to your Police Officer friends. It may have been your wife's mistake but neith...

Re: A welcome from my little monster.

Hello Monty from another 50:50 who has gone through the 'monster' stage and is a much more chilled out 4 and 3/4 years old boy. Jacob does still have his moments of naughtiness ... but wouldn't change him at all!!

Re: Ianto would like to introduce.....

Many congratulations. I love a parti doodle and that boy looks a particularly cute one. Hmmmm just echoing Bid's comments for a prolific poster where was the tippi tappy about that boy??? I'll warn my Wingerworth friends to offer assistance to anyone being dragged by one arm (Ianto) and pulle...

Re: Wingerworth Doods

Ianto forgot to cover his nose with his invisibility cloak

When our friends visited when Jacob was a puppy he half pulled the socks from our guests feet so they have experience of Black Doods

We will tell them the village is being overtaken by Doodles!

Wingerworth Doods

Had a lovely meal with friends from Wingerworth today and we were talking abut dogs and they mentioned seeing Doodles regularly going past their house.

I wondered if it was Ianto et al??

Although I think chocolate dood was mentioned.

Re: Decent pair of wellies

I have Bogs, Muck Boots and Aigle Parcours ISO2. I loved my Bogs which were short but after a year the inner lining wore through in one boot at the heel and rubbed so they went in the bin :(. Bought them in the states in Stowe where aparently they are used a lot for ice fishing as they are nice and ...

Re: Working full time with a Labradoodle?

Hmm its a difficult one as there are many people who have dogs and work full time and may be reluctant to post to tell you they do as I think most people would think it is not ideal. Personally I wouldn't have a dog if we both worked full time. We got Jacob when Nat was off work sick. That was a big...

Re: A little update on Monty

it is really nice to read that Monty is doing so well and has amde a doodle sized place for himself in your family. I love the idea that Indie is his hearing dog. How well that relaionship seems to be working. It seems that Monty just hadn't found the right fit with his previous families it certainl...
