Re: Is it worth re-turfing?

Forget re - turfing if your garden retains water, we have just shingled half our garden and Jessie goes to the toilet on it fine.

I would say the coat looks quite fleecy, Jessie was very similar as a pup

Re: Treat Balls

Jessie has had her buster cube for a year, it is brilliant because she has to push it and its too big for her to get her mouth aroynd to bite it. It has rounded edges so it doesn't bash the furniture and it is I destructable.

Put a handful of rice Crispies or frozen peas in it

Re: Spaying after effects

We just banned visitors to the house for 2 weeks , which caused the most bouncing.
The stitches are pretty tough though, just keep things as calm as possible and she will be fine.

Re: Dog Nappers

I will repost on Facebook, bit unnerving as I am only a couple of miles away.
My Groomer at The Dog House is aware and is making sure everybody knows about it too.
Thanks for keeping us informed

Re: Help...I have a jealous dog!

Jessie was like this for a while with family hugs - we just hugged lots and lots to get her used to it, it was quite fun thing to do and I had an excuse to give my 15 yr old hugs any time I wanted! Jessie doesn't bat an eyelid anymore. She doesn't like me petting other dogs though, I think she is wo...

Re: Prednisolone

Jessie had this for a rash last summer - never again, I thought she was having a heart attack, really breathless and upset.
It is a know side effect (so i found out afterwards) and you can't just take them off it, you have to let the drug run its course, or it can make things worse.
