Re: Breeding

[quote There is another way to look at this, I post photos of Marmites litter on here for a couple of reasons - because I've been a member of this forum since Marmite was a pup and because I've had requests from members who want to coo over the puppies and see how they are changing over the weeks. I...

Re: Breeding

I think new breeders post photos of their puppies on the forum as a way of advertising, as they are worried about finding homes for them. If one breeder does it, then others will follow ....

Maybe there should be a section purely for breeders advertisements?

I agree with Bid, he could have been stressed because it was his first time at the groomers and he didn't know when you were coming back.

Hopefully, next time he will be more chilled and know what to expect.

Re: What a sad ad

Why doesn't the lady who has got her take her to the vets for a mismate injection, then get her spayed in a few months? Trying to sell a pregnant dog is terrible.

Re: Do dogs get colds?

I don't wish to alarm you, but it could be a grass seed??? If he doesn't stop sneezing it may be worth getting the vet to check.

Feeding a dog pototo

I've been trying out different makes of dry dog food at the moment and the latest trend seems to be a grain free diet. I've noticed that most have potato in them instead of rice and my dood polishes it off! (well she would eat anything really!!!). But I read something a while ago (can't remember whe...

Re: What is a good food to put on weight?

Usually food with Lamb in it is heigher in calories than ones with chicken.

Once a dog is spayed they gain weight gradually as the metabolism slows down. Vets usually like a dog to be on the lean side of average than overweight, especially when they are still growing.

Re: slugs and snails

Well Jason just phoned vets as they have had Advocate but he didn't realise it's a monthly treatment. The vets said they don't really bother with it here as it's not common in this area. Not taking any chances though, off to vets to get supplies in. x Is Advocate pricey? It is pricey as you have to...

Thanks for the information :D

Why do vets and boarding kennels insist on the vaccinations being done every year?

Re: Australian doodle versus English doodle!

Australian and English labradoodles are both lovely dogs :) The English labradoodle is a labrador and poodle cross (obviously! :D ) however, the Australian 'labradoodle' has been bred with spaniels and terriers so not strictly a 'labra-doodle' in my opinion. Also, it's hard to see any labrador in th...
