The vet said that some dogs have a low pain threshold ...... Henry had morphine injections Tuesday and Wednesday and then his normal pain relief for today and tomorrow . The wound looks so much better today , he's tender on the top of his legs but I guess that's only to be expected after surgery of ...

The vets have been excellent, they have really provided first class advice and support for us . Henry has been so much better today, he even had a little doodle dash around the garden :D Hes not eating properly again yet though but he is a really fussy eater anyway, hes had some liver so i know hes ...

I stopped using the crate very early as I felt sorry for him in it !! :D Henry has always had the run of the house, he sleeps upstairs on the top of the landing and sits in the living room on the foot stool puffett thingie looking up and down the street. He doesnt go on the sofa in the living room ...

I think we will be back at the vets again tomorrow
Henry's wound is very red and inflamed . He was fine this morning but tonight he's crying again .
Im really struggling seeing him in so much pain .

I got Henry a comfy collar but as he has a long neck he can still reach his wound . I also got him a see through cone which he is ok with . Henry is going crazy at the moment , one week today and the stitches come out . I can't wait to get him into a nice shower as he whiffs a bit x Hope he's feelin...

Well what a night :cry: Henry cried and whimpered most of the night sleeping for just one hour at 345 . I've cleaned the three bathrooms, kitchen and hallway floor and one four loads of washing in the night !! :D He's just has his pain killer and is laid quite comfortable so hopefully I will be able...

Henry is still whimpering . :cry: He's been for a little walk in the garden but still has not had a wee . We are laid in our camp in the living room :D I'm really trying my best to make him comfortable and I hope I'm doing the right things . Ive had a good cry tonight because I feel for him a much ....

The vets rang me two hours earlier than I expected ...... Henry was awake but crying so much he was getting distressed , :cry: the vet asked if I felt comfortable with taking him home as they felt he wanted his mummy . I had to carry him to the car , and he cried all the way home but now he's home a...

So far (touch wood) Henry has not chewed anything yet even his toys are all still intact .
