Re: Jumping up

Having the same problem with Coco, and she's a big girl now! I bought some pet corrector http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pet-Corrector-Training-Barking-Chewing/dp/B001F40O38 and its slowly working, if she goes to jump at people, I give it a squirt, it makes a hissing sound which she doesn't like, I usually ...

Coco spaying experience

Firstly the op went well, she's feeling pretty groggy and drowzy, but she's okay  I have to say the vet I took her to was top notch. I was shown around the theatre and recovery rooms, given a schedule what would happen and what to expect by the vet's assistant. I slept well last night and felt...

Re: My Birthday Girl is getting spayed on Wednesday

Well, firstly, thankyou so much for remembering and asking. After a sleepless night from me, booking time off work and finally getting around the the decision. My DH rushes upstairs this morning and said, "I've fed Coco, would you like me to take her for a walk before surgery :?:  Suffice t...

Re: when is the next cannock meet.

I'm not great either, but if you go on fb, if you're a member put 'Cannock Chase Doodle Meets' in the search bar and ask to join. I think it's as simple as that! Failing that, look for me, Diane Drummond and I'll join you up

Dog Allergy Advice Please

My friend fell in love with Coco when we had her; she went to her breeder and came back with Coco's brother. :) She has just discovered that her partner has developed an allergy to the dog and said that they can no longer keep her. She is absolutely gutted. :| I have offered to have him if they can'...

You've Been Framed, Missed Opportunity!

Sitting here watching Wildlife Britain, Coco suddenly takes interest in it as well, butterflies, deer, birds, more butterflies, more deer, more birds, more deer, more deer... Coco's ears are rising, she raises from a sit to a stand, then suddenly takes a LEAP, head butting the tv which then comes cr...

Re: Over excited mouthing/nipping/clothes tugging

Hi, don't know how old the children are, but my daughter is 9 and Coco used to nip her and her friends a lot (playing). I spent a lot of time training my daughter to be firm, consistent and authoritative with her when she did this, a firm NO, and ignoring her. I found with Coco responded much better...
