Re: Other dogs

I don't know how old Bronte is but if she is is around or under six months old I would avoid walking in a park with her. Sadly it is a fact that dogs up to six months old are the ones most likely to be attacked by older dogs. Six months old is the most risky time to walk your dog in a park. You can ...

Re: Feed once a day or twice?

What does it say on the food you are giving your doodle, always go by what they recommend. My doodle is twelve months old and has had three meals a day since I had him. He has three meals a day now. Just check the info that comes with the food as you may not be giving your food enough food.

Re: Puppy socialisation tips needed!

Hi, try and take Molly to puppy classes that way she will mix with other dogs of her own age. If you can walk your dog with someone who has a friendly dog and introduce Molly to as many friendly dogs as possible avoiding any aggressive dogs. Sadly it is a fact that a lot of puppy's get attacked whil...

Re: Alfie is really, really poorly

I had the same thing happen to my Otto about two months ago, We rushed him to the vets and he was on a drip for two days. The vet thought he had picked up an airborne virus of some sort, he is fine now and he has had no further problems. It was a worry at the time due to the fact his health declined...

Re: Poppy attacked

I found the pet corrector spray only works if you see the dog coming towards you and you can warn the dog off with it. I used the spray when Otto was attacked and the gangs dog completely ignored it.One of the best methods is to take off your coat and cover the attacking dogs head with it, that may ...

Re: Poppy attacked

I had a gang of teenagers set their dog on my seven months old labradoodle Otto a few weeks ago and when I managed to get there dog of Otto they attacked me with planks of wood.I did not make a fuss of Otto and it has not affected him. But I am now always weary of who is in the park. The police come...

I would never give my doodle a nylabone someone once told me that if any pieces get stuck in the dogs stomach they do not show up under xray.
