Re: New on the forum.

Thanks everyone, You are all experienced owners so I will take your advise and bring some blanket home with her. Its awful to think she is going to have a few sad days but its perfectly understandable as she wont be with her mummy and brothers and sisters. :( I bought the Labradoodle handbook by Lin...

Re: A light bulb moment about toy destruction!

Hi Kathie I love the photo, I said it before, I know , but Holly is beautiful. I have spent a fortune on toys for Dolly already and we havent even got her yet ! Want to be prepared. I guess we will find out what she likes and doesnt when we get her. Its almost like preparing for a new baby. Love San...

Re: New on the forum.

Morning Anne I was looking at pet plan insurance yesterday and its a bit confusing as the 2 middle priced life policies were £4000 per year vet fees and the next one was £7000 per year vets fees but the yearly policy and the most expensive had amounts per condition. Is it not best to go with an amou...

Re: New on the forum.

Hi Kathie Holly is beautiful and looks remarkably like Dolly's mum! Am thinking Dolly is going to be similar. Thanks for the info on insurance.I had been told to say she is a crossbreed for insurance as if I said she was a labradoodle they class it as a breed and the premiums are higher. She comes w...

Re: New on the forum.

Hi Kathie Thanks for the warm welcome.I will go with a lifetime policy I think,it sounds the better option. One question I would like to ask is what do I put down as her breed? As she is technically a cross breed, and so are her mum and dad, do I put that? Would it be more expensive to put her as a ...

Re: New on the forum.

Thank you so much for all your replies. I thinks all of you make very valid points. I realise its going to be hard work but it will be worth it. Liz I love the bell idea, thats very clever.I thinks everyone is right in so much as each pup is different. Her breeder has all 11 pups paper trained. Not ...
