Thank you for the tips. I realise that clipping and grooming are an essential part of owning a curly coated dog and he does get groomed on a daily basis. I will look a a cool pad for him. Brave / foolish the jury is still out!. They dash about like dervishes and then crash. Fortunately the crash lasts longer than the dash at the moment but I am certain that will change soon. They are both lovely natured and love cuddles. I will post more picture when I have time to take them

I am not sure I have enough space for 2 crates. Things are going well with only a few little accidents.
