Re: Anyone used animal friends insurance?

Hi again, we are with More Than. They have been very helpful and very prompt in paying out. I would certainly recommend them. We now have cover for £12,000 a year and we pay just under £15 a month. I hope the early days with the pup are going well. Anny. Thanks! I'll look into them. I'm paying £26 ...

Re: Anyone used animal friends insurance?

It's a bit ridiculous when I think that my car insurance when I was 20 years old is less than my pet insurance... Thing is, with a car, you can junk it and buy another.... Anne, Ianto & Wyre x But it is also way more likely to/able to kill or seriously harm you and other people! Yes, for me persona...

Re: Anyone used animal friends insurance?

Thanks for your reply, I know what you mean! I'm also playing with the idea of finding a better deal because this insurance is costing me £300 a year which over the course of Harvey's life (hopefully long) will add up to quite a lot. I do want to make sure I can afford vet treatments but it is just ...

Re: Anyone used animal friends insurance?

I rang up petplan and have decided to continue with them. They said anything is covered immediately and will roll on as long as I continue my insurance without any breaks. It will cost me £26 a month which I feel like is very high but their policy seems better than most and everyone here seems to be...

Re: Anyone used animal friends insurance?

Thanks for your replies! Harvey is currently on pet plans free 4 weeks and they just messaged about an additional month free. As long as I continue with them after the free insurance would anything found within this time period be covered for life?

Anyone used animal friends insurance?

Quoted £7.80 a month for lifetime cover, sounds a bit too good to be true to me? John Lewis' lowest cover was quoted to me at £15 and their midrange at £20 as a comparison..

Location of pen and separation anxiety

Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong sub forum. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with separation anxiety? I was thinking of keeping Harvey when he arrives in a pen in my bedroom, but I'm not sure if this is the best place to keep him as he'll see a lot of me and it may give him sep...

Re: Is 7 weeks and 3 days old too young?

I have decided to go for a middle ground and pick him up 2 days before he is 8 weeks old as it gives me the entire weekend with him! I have to be out of the house for 2 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but my sister and girlfriend are both more than happy to puppy sit on those days! My breeder...

Re: Soon to be new owner - anxious and excited!

Thanks for your replies! I have decided to get a pen with a floor attachment. I got him a cushion/bed which essentially takes up half of the pen and will put puppy pads on the other side so hopefully it'll teach him to go on the puppy pads if he has to. Will also try to just take him out regularly! ...

Re: Soon to be new owner - anxious and excited!

Congratulations and welcome! I'm sure you're counting the sleeps away until pick up! Our Coco is a mini F1 labradoodle. Small lab mum and mini poodle dad. She measures about 17.5 inches and weighs about 17 kg. A perfect size really. She only sheds a little but as she has a hair coat, I wouldn't say...

Re: Soon to be new owner - anxious and excited!

Thanks everyone for your replies! Went to visit Harvey on Wednesday, here is the first picture of the little guy I am posting: http://i68.tinypic.com/242akpj.png I was also wondering if anyone could make crate suggestions? Looking for a good one, preferably with a divider so I can increase the size ...
